Even if there wasn't, there are more than enough women wrestling in the independents that would be a great addition to a serious women's division.

I think the difference between the NXT women's matches and the main roster Divas matches shows what I've said all along: when you have strong women's wrestling, the fans definitely get behind it. Hell Sasha Banks vs Bayley were 2 of the best matches of the last year. Women's wrestling can be awesome if the biggest wrestling company in the world starts taking it seriously.

-Natalya, Naomi, Alicia, Emma, Paige, and Summer can all wrestle.
-Brie's got all the reason for us to get behind her in the world right now.
-Tamina can be there just for variety
-Lana's super over and Eva is a heat machine

Seems unlikely. They have a reality TV show and a team of the same name on the WrestleMania card. You would think they would phase the name out instead of just changing it on one day.

10 matches spread out over 6 hours since 3 of them are going to be on the preshow. Mathematically that is less than 2 matches a hour. In addition to that there are quite a few matches that are vastly underwhelming for Wrestlemania including:

Ryback vs Kalisto
Total Diva match
League of Nations vs New Day
Usos vs Dudleyz
Battle Royal

So yes, the Hell in a cell and Lesnar v Ambrose matches are very interesting... but we're talking about filling up six hours of entertainment with only a few interesting matches.

That is the very definition of thin.

If this is true, I bet they'll keep the same belt and just change the name from Diva to Women. But how can they do this with Total Divas? Not like they can change it to Total Women.
