So there's this girl I'm pretty sure is into me. We haven't talked yet, but I see her and her friend all the time (I live in a very small town). The other day I was walking by and she was standing in the rain with her two friends and she gave me this super-hot "fuck me" look (although it mighr have been a "can-I-borrow-your-umbrella" look :p) Our eyes locked for like 10 seconds. And then today, I was walking down the same road to work and I heard a female voice calling out from a passing car. I didn't see who it was, but pretty sure it would have been her.

Now, I'm completely at a loss here. This is really the first time I've had a girl noticing me without me noticing her first (at least outside of a club setting/when she is sober). I have no idea what to do. Should I go talk to her? Should I pretend I haven't noticed her and wait for her to come? Or am I reading it all wrong and that look really said "fuck off" (it's happened before)?

Mind you, this girl is way out of my league - about a 7/8 out of 10 in the regular-girl scale - although she looks a few years younger than me (around 18/20).

I'm sorry if this is a lame topic, but I thought I'd ask the forum and cull from you guys' experiences.

PS: No troll answers please.

Do it. Whats the worst that could happen. She blows you off, big deal. The reward is worth the risk my friend.

Be a man and ask her. If you two don't really know each other if she ends up rejecting you, you should be able to get over it quite easily. This thread reminded me of this song too.

Eye contact is the major sign.

If you get the fear of rejection out yr system you'll be a much better person for it, I've got with girls way out my league (humblebrag) just because I approached them while everyone else was probably intimidated. I can't advise you on what to say to her, that has to come from you but just keep it simple and avoid cheesy cliches and chat up lines.

Good luck!

I don't use chat up lines. I'm kind of awkward, so it works better for me if I'm just myself. You wouldn't believe how effective "hi, what's your name?" has been for me.

I also notice a lot of "players" and fit guys getting intimidated (especially at clubs), and I've won girls over from them (SOMEHOW). I don't get it at all. I also get LOADS of looks from girls with their hunky Channing Tatum boyfriend on their arm (I am more of a Tobey Maguire myself, LOL) and I have NO idea why they're looking at me when they're already dating a guy who looks like THAT.

It's all been really weird for me since I've moved to the UK, because the rules have muddled. Back home it was pretty simple - "ew, a nerd". Here, I'm suddenly considered attractive, and I'm still a little punch-drunk :lmao

Thanks for the advice, guys! Keep it coming.

Looks aren't everything dude. You need to stop focusing on looks. Maybe she sees that you have a good personality. This whole thing about looks and shit, it's not healthy. Look at me, I'm an overweight white guy who rarely shaves, yet I can grab some attention from girls because I'm just a nice guy. So yeah, the whole "she's hot, I'm not" thing has to stop. That's just shallow.

Also I'd recommend going up to her and whipping your dick out, and say "SUCK ON MY LOLLY!" In a Batman voice. Chicks dig that shit. 8D

Sorry, couldn't contain the troll answer any longer. You know how I am!

I said no troll answers bitch! 8D

Also, how can she think I have a good personality - she doesn't know me yet! That argument is only valid if the girl knows you beforehand. If it's physical attraction, then I'm right and you're wrong. Bitch.

Just talk to her whenever you see her. Have no fear, and when you talk to her, don't do it in such a way where you think anything will happen between you too. The only time you should do that is if she gives you explicit signs within the context of your conversations.

By the way, regardless of what you think, the beard should go. Most women don't like facial hair unless it's a goatee or chin strap, and those women are few in number. You're not a bad looking dude, you could totally find someone. On top of that, you're uber-smart. While it's not necessary, might I suggest hitting up the gym a bit?

Furthermore, don't be afraid to be yourself. Express all of your interests after you've established some sort of relationship with this girl.

Maybe she's seen how you act in public? Saw a nice guy being an actual gentlemen or something?

Well, loads of women say I'm cute because of my beard/that they like men with beards. Plus it makes me look older bro. People have said I look like I'm in my thirties! :YES!: :DBYES: :dancing: :chewy:

Gym - bad back, so can't really pump iron, therefore it's pointless - I'm fit otherwise.

But make sure you hide the Spider Man pajamas. 8D

No worries there - I don't have any. I do have a Hong Kong Phooey one though :lmao Oh, and a Ninja Turtles shirt.

It's called arm curls, breh.

And why would you want to look older? -______- A girl does want you looking older. They'd rather you look younger. Also, were the girls who told you that sober? 8D

Uh, yes. Pretty much.

And try spending 2/3rds of your life having people tell you you're 3 years younger than your actual age. When I shave I look 22/24, easy. When I don't look 17 8D
