I think you'll enjoy the All Japan style. They used to work with really long rivalries (Misawa vs Kobashi spanned almost 2 decades) and as a result they always developed new moves, since they learnt how to counter each others moves and finishers they had to come up with ultra finishers and such. And the intensity/hate between two rivals is so good

True. But I was talking more about that match and the competitors involved. Any match that has Suguira or Suzuki is basically going to be a near death experience.

All Japan star Joe Doering has been diagnosed with Brain Cancer and is off all cards for the forseeable future.

Update: Joe has had the tumor removed and has to go through chemo/radiation treatment now, which can take up to six weeks. If all goes well he could be back in time for the Sumo Hall show in November.

Another amazing show by the amazing Dragon Gate. Also, DDT is on point. NOAH is still dying as we speak. Wrestle-1 put on one of the best shows, I've watched in the last few months.

Intense weekend, but I've caught up on my puro. Just need to get into All Japan.

W1 had a pretty good opening card and gate for their first show on the Cherry Blossom tour. It was a good show, overall. From what I've been reading attendance has been falling pretty bad. Not sure if this is because of a reduced venue size or what because they were in K Hall for the opener.

I'm more hyped for King of Gate than for Dead or Alive with the 6 man steel cage with the loser having to be bald for 1 year.

I'm pretty sure I posted this in the puro thread, but the shows were postponed due to earthquake activity. It's going to be good starting on the 8th of May. With the finals scheduled for some time in early-mid June.
