VerserK vs. Monster Express was amazing. The crowd was so pumped and the action was awesome. Refreshing to see a Japanese indie with a packed and alive audience.

I find it hard to call Dragon Gate an indie, they are the number 2 in Japan right now.

Sadder news:
Hayabusa died during the night. This fucking sucks. Mr FMW, they drew a mania size crowd with no TV by building on him back in the day

Oh man that sucks so bad. He was making progress and actually started walking again. Had amazing in-ring talents and was all-round awesome.

For those not familiar with Hayabusa's work this one comes recommended. It's a 90 minute documentary about him with English announcers and every interview/promo subbed in full. It features 3 of his biggest matches as well.

Hard to watch him do the Asai Moonsault...A true Japanese if not international wrestling legend. Definitely one of the best, ever.
