The crowd is always dead at NOAH shows unless it's a major show like Destiny or Great Voyage. And the crowds for their Breeze tour have been relatively low. So the fact that they almost reach 2000 is a glimmer of hope for NOAH, nothing too much.
Honestly, this tour has been pretty good. Sure the tag champs are looking like chumps against 50 year old grandpas, and the younger guys are fiddling in tag matches that serve no purpose, since they are usually in the ring for like 3 minutes overall. But the matches have been good, and Sugiura has been a great champ so far. He reminds me of Ishii, extremely stiff and one of the few older guys that I actually want to stay around. Glad Shiozaki is getting his push back, and it's good to see someone below 40 win the title, and he is a NOAH breed, just the icing on the cake.
The push to the title was actually pretty horrendous now that I think about it. They've been having tag matches for the past month, and they weren't the main event. Kind of sweet and sour with this one.
