It's a shame TMDK wasn't apart of this show. They've been shut off in terms of being one of the best tag teams in NOAH; heavyweight or otherwise. I still don't know why they would drop the Tag titles to KES, only 32 days after one of their best matches ever against the Yankees. I only hope they get another shot at the belts and have a long run like their 200+ day 1st reign.

EDIT: Their 1 reign was 202 days. :heyman2:

Well, I did say that.
Your post said that Suzuki-gun shenanigans makes you appreciate the Bullet Club. That would indicate that you think the BC is better. Did I get that right?

They are heading to Florida once Haste's knee heals and they get their visas.

Ahh, I may've expressed myself poorly there.

No, my point was that SZKG shenanigans make one appreciate the BC in the sense that BC does shenanigans, too, but not as much as SZKG.

Still a point I disagree with. The Bullet Club is so awful with their shenanigans. I have no problem with Suzukiguns tampering with matches. The Bullet Club simply needs to die.

Granted I don't get why we are even discussing NOAH since that fed itself needs to die.

I do have a problem with shenanigans, when it comes to matches with big fight feel to it, regardless of what faction is involved. They just annoy me in scenarios like that.

For an example, SZKG shenanigans ruined that Suzuki/Takayama match for the GHC title from a few months ago. And the BC shenanigans definitely ruined the KUSHIDA/KO match for me.

What's up with NOAH, though? Are they, like, merging with New Japan or something? I might've read something somewhere and I'm not really a regular follower of NOAH.

Bushiroad, the company that owns NJPW. Is a not so secret investor in NOAH. Why is beyond me since NOAH has no stars what so ever, which the Suzukigun invasion has made clear and no identity what so ever as a promotion

Agreed about Bullet Club. It needs to stop it has no central storyline. Just a boat load of guys dressed in black and the logo throw up the wolfpac sign, and there automatically over and cool. NWO had the 'Who's gonna stop them? angle running from 1996 till 1999. Bullet Club had that, but sometime after half of the Americans on New Japan's roster joined in, it stopped. Not to mention adding an under developed Cody Hall, just to get the Hall name involved.

NOAH on the otherhand, is a great promotion imo. With a rich history is a short span, and full of matches that can easily be candidates for MOTC (Misawa vs. Kobashi). Sure it's currently in a stagnate state. And It hasn't developed a compelling storyline or made a legitimate star since KENTA left. But I still have hope.

Speaking of NOAH's stars. TMDK leaving, and NOAH not giving them the chance to shine, when they had the opportunity, is Blue. They could've done so much more than just 2 tag team reigns totaling 234 days. Another NOAH fuck up, i guess.

Will they operate separately or is NOAH going under?

That moment when veoh videos work much better than Dailymotion ones. I just watched some of RealHero's stuff on veoh with zero streaming issues. Yet when I wanted to watch NOAH's Great Voyage show yesterday, DM was acting like such a bitch, I actually had to D/L those 3 matches I watched.

Mediocrity with moments of brilliance and stupidity sums up W1 well enough. Their booking is super stupid at times. For example taking the guy that is supposed to be their Tanahashi, having him win the belt from Mutoh, then lose it on his first defense in under 8 minutes. What do they do with him after that? Repeat the entire process! Have him win the belt back after 2/3 months (which resulted in the entire crowd booing him out of the building) only to lose it on the first defense again!

Japan is going to be in for quite the boom in match quality in a few years hopefully considering every notable company except NOAH is producing great rookies (not counting but still counting W1 since their school has yet to produce any talent but they do have a couple of good young talents on their roster).

NJPW has the golden young lions in Tanaka and Komatsu.
AJPW has the trio of Lee, Nomura and Aoyagi.
DDT has Endo, Takeshita and a few more, not to mention the guys in DNA.
DG has Ishida, Yamamura and the younger former millenials like UT and Lindaman.
BJW also has a couple of good rookies but I don't know the name of them.

Will be a fun couple of years ahead of us.
