Japan is going to be in for quite the boom in match quality in a few years hopefully considering every notable company except NOAH
Harada, Kotoge, Ohara and Sabre come to mind. All of them have really gotten their chance to shine, in the last year or so.

Neither are rookies. Which was what my post was about. Guys produced and trained by the promotion they work for. Harada started in 2006, Ohara in 2004 and Sabre in 2005.

DNA guys are something else. And Jake Lee is the best. Don't forget Kamaitachi coming back from Mexico.
Lee is going to be so much fun once he gets some more shine and some mass. Commentary mentions Baba a lot when talking about him which is either a very good thing, or they are completely ignoring him.

Forgot about Itakura in Zero1 for the rookie list. He's good for the time he's been working. But he's trained by Otani so it shouldn't be that surprising.

I just watched the wizard MiSu carrying Sugiura to his very best match ever. It's a must-see clash with the hot crowd (!!!), captivating human chessgame elements and the best goddamn slap battle in years.

Yes, yes it was. I thought I sent that to you in the PM, but yeah, that was really the best match Sugiura has had in a number of years.

Suzuki vs. Sugiura and Benjamin vs. Nakajima are the only matches worth watching, from that card.

Kind of hard to watch Andy Wu, he looks too much like Hayabusa.:henry2:
