This is why it's hard to talk things with some people because you can't see grey areas exist. I don't think you should be able to shoot someone for being at their door. There are a million and 1 reasons someone might knock on your door. If you have a gated backyard or you have a driveway past a gate, that's a different story if you shunck onto their property. Or if they broke into your actual house. I wouldn't ever advocate for shooting a man because he's knocking at your door.

Tbh Smark, I think we'd disagree with nothing if people just weren't so scared and trigger happy and stopped shooting innocent people. I'm not saying don't protect yourself, I'm saying stop "making mistakes" that cost people their lives and potentially us our freedoms

I'm mostly talking about people who have to know they are trespassing because they literally have climb over a gate, are enter your backyard that might have a fence or if you have none of those things, literally break into your home. I don't think you have the right to shoot anyone on your sidewalk for any reason unless they are showing legit signs they might attack you. This kid asking for a ride wasn't it so I agree with that jury.
