There's also actually a very noticeable migration pattern from both Texas and California to Minnesota, if you checked it out, since Minnesota basically has the same economy as both states, but has cheaper housing, more job equity, and higher quality of life.

Minnesota's actually pre-emptively putting forth a bill that will ban corporations and big land lords from buying single-family homes, which will help drive prices down.

Basically making it so that families can afford to buy homes rather than pay exorbitant amounts of rent to slum-corps.

It likely has to do with a strong agricultural center and several corporations headquartering more in the Twin Cities area. Minnesota's also in the Top 10 for economic growth; marijuana being legalized is going to bring in a whole new workload willing to do business in state too.
