Europe is more traditionalist in the kitchen hierarchy

Yes this, I'm patient but I tend to be a bull in a china shop when it comes to cooking and baking

No bc they'll be like "bake until it rises just over the pan" and I panic bc thats not a set amount of minutes lol

though I guess there's also a lot of technique with dough, and I am no knowledgable there and you can fuck up a lot of stuff by fucking up ingredients or your proofing
