Like for me, I'm decently left (shocker, trans girl is on the left) where I lean more towards democratic socialism and liberalism (and also better environmental protection), in that we still allow the private market to exist and hopefully thrive, but there is a clear rule system to avoid manipulation of the market. Then a tax system which is reasonable. Everyone pays a reasonable sum based on their ability and income while allowing them to, shock, have a decent living. Rich obviously pays more but not every cent. Then use the tax dollars to provide good base healthcare, education, public programs that help the less fortunate and etc.
