something liek that but yeah i mean, if you have social programs, you use socialism. socilaism built ur roads too for example

The results. MMP won, but only after a final round where FPTP was leading every round except for the last, and considering it was 3 options which were similar to MMP, easy to see why it won. So the next Prov Election had a referendum with it, either MMP or keeping FPTP, and it lost. That killed the debate for some time.
