I don't think it is a good idea.

I mean, just because others don't want to give foreign aid through their taxes doesn't mean you can't, which us what I mean.

I always say it's an idea where it sounds good on paper, but it doesn't work in practice. And yes, extremes of both are dangerous, and some balance is key. But as someone who had to take a fair bit of political philosophy classes, I always looked at communism as just a lens to be critical. See the flaws of society and then I look towards realistic solutions. Understand it, but don't see it as gospel

I think if Russia and China historically showed us that one side is not practical, then Bioshock showed us that the other extreme also equally is impractical in real life.

My idea wasn't that you vote though. You just divy up *your* share of the tax to whatever you want. Others do the same.
