Madusa, formerly known as Alundra Blayze, is none too pleased with reigning WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee recently appearing in possession of the WWE Women's Championship—the 50-year-old considers herself the rightful owner of the strap since she never lost it in a match.

Last week, WWE's resident "Geek Goddess" tweeted this photo of herself holding the retired belt (for a WWE.com photo shoot she and other wrestlers took part in). Upon seeing the picture, Madusa called out Lee on Facebook.

She wrote, "Apparently someone has delusions of grandeur........

"AJ Never was, Never will be the WWE womens champion as long as I OFFICIALLY hold the title. Bitch never beat me, Bitch never will. However she does give good mike skill so lets see what she has to say now....

"#WWE #madusa #monstertrucks #divas #champion #teammadusa ##kissmyass."

Madusa is not the only person with a less than favorable opinion of the WWE Divas Champion. Earlier this month, Lee tweeted an image of a tattoo she got on the back of her neck to commemorate the date she won the belt (June 16, 2013). According to this week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lee's tribute drew a negative reaction from some of her co-workers as they consider it an "eye roller"—wrestlers displaying fan-like behavior is generally frowned upon by those affiliated within the industry. Plus, WWE commentators Jerry "The King" Lawler and John "Bradshaw" Layfield poked fun at her ink during last Monday's live Raw broadcast by saying if she lost the belt, she would get a tattoo commemorating the date.

During a recent interview with WWE.com, the New Jersey native explained the meaning behind her unique mark.

"When I was really young, my entire family was covered in tattoos, so it was okay to get one. But I knew, when I did get one, that I wanted it to be something important and special. So, at a very young age, I decided that I would get it when I won the title," said Lee.

"I’m not a girly girl. And I didn't want fancy script or a butterfly or anything like that on me. I wanted something surreal; something that showed time served. That’s why it’s in the style that it’s in. [The Divas Championship is] something that I worked for and spent a great deal of my time trying to get. It's 14 years in the making. So, it’s supposed to be really cold. Just a mark of an accomplishment and now I move on.â€
sound's like a bitter b*#tch to me. madusa really needs to move on... you dumped the title in the trash yet it means so much to you. please!

I had to read up on who she was, and even after that I still don't give a fuck who she was.

Also on a somewhat related note did AJ really get a tattoo of the date when she won that title? :rofl

She did this shit last time with Beth if I'm not mistaken. Woman is so thirsty for relevance to get another run in WWE it's sad.

So, we have a Has-been who cared so much about her title that she threw it in the trash on Live TV for money talking shit about someone who so loves her craft that she tattooed the date she won the (watered down version of the) title on her body?

Sounds like an IWC news article.

Oh wait....

She dumped the belt. I mean when I think of the women's title I think of Trish and Lita like damn near every fan of wwe women's wrestling. Bitch is irrelevant besides her shock appearance on nitro as she's not remembered in the ring more than Trish or Lita nor as a personality more than Torrie, Stacy, Sable, Sunny, Terri, and the like.

Who gives a fuck about Madusa? She hasn't been relevant in the wrestling business for over 10 years. She needs to stick to truck driving, and stop trying to call people out.

I still have the Alundra Blaze pog that was given out at Mac's Milk back in the early 90's. Even have an Owen Hart one. Guess which one I know the actual location of.

Also, as far as I am concerned, trashing your title, is the same as vacating it.

Always liked Medusa both as manager and wrestler, but her day in the sun is up, she should just be pleased with her success and move on.

Don't care about Medusa, but the part about superstars and people in the back being annoyed by her tattoo pisses me off. "Fan-Like" behavior is frowned about backstage? Okay because the superstars weren't fans at one point and aren't allowed to be because they're wrestlers now? I think the tattoo was a cool idea. Shows she actually loves the business and the title means something to her.

Unlike other people that will throw their title in the trash.

Yeah but you can't deny it became an iconic image.

Yeah but you can't deny it became an iconic image.

It became an "Iconic Image" because it, in part, led to the Montreal Screwjob. I"ve been watching wrestling since 1987 and I can't, for the life of me, remember her throwing it in the trash in my head. I mean, I know it happened, and I know I watched it, but I can't draw the images up in my mind.

So yes, I can argue it isn't an iconic image. Had it not been for its effect on wrestling and performers that ACTUALLY mattered, it'd been completely forgotten by now.

And also WWE plugs the fuck out of it as a "fuck you" to everyone involved because the joke ended up being on them and now they just look like complete assholes.

Whatever Madusa is doing, funny stuff. I wonder if she's looking to take indy bookings or hoping to get asked to do some shoot interviews or wrestling convention signings. As far as AJ getting a tattoo, I could see why some would roll their eyes at it. But at the same time, it's not like a lot of them don't mark out for themselves, titles or the business. I'm sure none of them have action figure (of themselves of course) displays in their house.

I don't see the connection with the Montreal screwjob myself they seem like two completely different things. I would say its iconic because it was one of the first big blows landed in the Monday Night Wars, it may seem petty now, but at the time it was exciting.

To me she mattered as she opened a lot of doors for females in wrestling both as personailties and as wrestlers. She was a key part of the Dangerous Allience and was the first major woman to be pushed post 80s in WWF. And by the way I always found her hotter than Missy!
