I pop for Goldberg. I’m probably in between not wanting to see him wrestle and wanting to see him wrestle.

I’ve never cared if the matches were super good. As long as I was invested in the character and story.

And Goldberg is a larger than life character. The only issue is I actually did like like his matches between late 1998 and 2003. He did get better imo. But I don’t really care for 5 minute squashes for the title.

That one match with Brock was well done, but I don’t want to see that with Roman. Give me a solid match.

Exactly. I can name a handful of good Goldberg matches in late WCW and his first WWE run that went 10-20 minutes. He was capable of competitive matches. If he can give me that with Roman, I’m down.

Then he should stay away. I like a good pop, but if he can’t do matches longer than 3 minutes, he shouldn’t be doing title matches in the main event.

I say this as someone that doesn’t care about work rate. I personally love Nash matches when the story told in the ring is a good one and he cares.

But we’ve seen any good story he can tell in 3 minutes.
