ECW Hardcore TV Preview
September 15th, 2001

Savannah, Georgia

In the lead up to Anarchy Rulz, all we heard from Cyrus and The Network was talks of ‘the plan’. Nobody on the outside was entirely sure as to what the plan would entail, however it seemed likely that it would be based on Steve Corino remaining the ECW Champion. Two members of The Network who weren’t happy with the plan were the former ECW Champion Rhino and Jerry Lynn. During the Ultimate Jeopardy match, Lynn put on a herculean effort, starting the match for The Network, and quite a few times throughout the match it felt as if he was keeping The Network afloat. Lynn even had the match won, however Justin Credible, his own teammate, interrupted the pinfall attempt, not wanting Lynn to earn a shot at facing Corino at November To Remember. After the match, after being held down long enough to not getting the decisive fall, Rhino finally snapped, attacking all of The Network who have been screwing with Rhino for over a month now. Whilst Rhino and Lynn both now have The Network as an enemy, Jerry is unhappy with the Gore he received after the match at Anarchy Rulz. In somewhat of a shock, Lynn has issued a challenge to face Rhino to gain retribution for The Gore, and Cyrus has booked the match for tonight’s main event. Both men have The Network and the ECW Champion in their sights, tonight’s match could go a long way in deciding who gets that title shot at November To Remember.

At Anarchy Rulz, Christian York and Joey Matthews were able to defeat The Full Blooded Italians, whilst a little more surprisingly, Hot Commodity were able to overcome The Harris Twins. Even though Da Baldies had a say in the result, this was a big win for Hot Commodity. Coming off a successful pay per view, both teams will now assumedly set their sights on chasing The Unholy Alliance and the ECW Tag Team Championships. Who will continue their momentum coming off Anarchy Rulz when these two teams lock horns tonight?

One month ago, on an episode of ECW Hardcore TV, CW Anderson was able to defeat Low Ki to win the ECW Television Championship. Low Ki seemed to have things in control during this match, until Justin Credible made an appearance, turning the result in favor of The Network. Yet to receive his rematch, last week Low Ki confronted Cyrus, demanding he at least gets a chance to earn a rematch. The evil Cyrus complied and booked Low Ki in a match against Homicide at Anarchy Rulz. Homicide has been playing the role of mercenary, accepting money from The Network to take out some of their threats. Homicide has looked unstoppable so far during his run in ECW, however at Anarchy Rulz, ‘The Warrior’ withstood Homicide’s onslaught and was able to pick up the victory. Cyrus has stayed true to his word so tonight we will also see CW Anderson defend the TV Title against the former champion, Low Ki.

Please tune in to see all of this and much, much more!!!
