Brock creates a buzz when he comes around but how many fans genuinely hate him and the run he has had since XXX? People have stopped watching WWE because of Lesnar.

Punk was always over and moved more merch than Brock did/does and could still be full time for another five to ten years if he wanted. That's assuming WWE handled health properly, but that's a different conversation.

The man only wanted to main event one WrestleMania. Even the year after he left, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns would get to main event. There's no reason Punk didn't get to get to when he was champion for 434 day. I'm sorry twice in a lifetime didn't need to main event over the guy WWE had carry their brand for over a year. You said you were business man, you really letting a guy like Punk go when all he wants is to go on last at one show?

Exactly. No one was going to pass on 29 if the rematch wasn't on last and you accommodate one of your top guys.

I know for a fact there are other WrestleManias where fans got mad that Taker didn't close the show.

For a while there they wanted his streak matches to close every year.

I’m a personal perponent that the title should go on last unless circumstances override it. I would’ve put Rock/Hogan on last at WM18. I would’ve put Flair/Michaels on last at WM24. I agree with Michaels/Taker going on last at 26. No disrespect to Paul Bearer but Punk/Taker should not have gone on last at 29. Idgaf if it was the best match of the show. You had the 2 biggest starts AND the Championship; that’s your main event
