Caps were always a meh issue for me. The XWF ran well without them and it made things more competitive.

I've been in feds without caps and I've been in feds with caps. Without caps worked when I didn't have a job cause then I could do a lot more. But now that I have everything going on... without caps was just too much of a hassle to keep up with cause then you'd have those people that would just go on and on and on pretty much speeding through with no brakes cause they are going to do as many as they can to keep a very comfortable lead and that is when it no longer becomes competitive but more a chore to see who can spend the most time devoted to doing RPs.

Adding caps caused people to be more creative and say more in their RPs plus it helped keep things competitive because then you knew that you couldn't just do a bunch more than the other but that everyone had to do up to a certain number and then it became more about skill then about who had the most free time to do tons of RPs. That's true competition.

Eh, I beg to differ. Most of us in that fed usually had each roleplay go over 1K easily. Thus, with the vast number of RPs posted, we were able to continue more of the story we wanted to tell in a given time, especially if that particular story was relative to the episode of Xplosion, the fed, or the match and its competitors.

I like the use of caps because people don't complain as much, and if they do, they really don't have much of a case anyway. Without caps, you could complain your opponent won via quantity over quality if he posted a few more than you. The only way you can lose with caps is if you don't meet your cap, which shouldn't be hard in most cases, or your opponent was just better than you.

Why do caps? Let people write their things the way they want. If somebody can go 1-1, he posts one, his opponent one as well, then the OP of the thread doesn't post again and it's done, both sides TTd/RPd. If anyone is ready to post more, well, they post more. It's simple as that.

BTW Somebody said, I think Chase, that this is e-fed memory lane, not e-fed drama lane, what I posted were some of my memories and a story of my UCW stint. A memory. lol

Yeah, but we had a rule against that. Did you roleplay on SDGL?

Hardly, don't remember much about it. I remember that whole fiasco with Stomp's husband (don't remember his name), and there was some rule to prevent that from happening.

Dragko, who screwjobed EOM within the last hour of a PPV to win a match. After that, Sean declared we'd have a 24 hour rule which worked pretty brilliantly.

Seems like it was trying to create drama to me. Though I don't expect Itch to continue the argument with you.

Hey, bro, I don't wanna cause any drama here. It's the last damn thing we need. Slim asked for controversial stories; bam I posted one. And? Besides, I don't have any beef with Itch anymore. As far as I know, we're chill.

yeah controversy? good stories? Anything. its memory lane... and not all memories are good... right? :)

And the only reason why something like that might not work is cause sometimes people don't care and it isn't about fun but about winning... and when that happens then there is no fun. Which is why with caps... it limits people from going crazy with how many they do. I've seen it from both ends and caps just looked nicer in all of my experiences.

But a good memory... hmmmm... had to be when me and Jay steamrolled over UCW with Rated R Raw. Mannnnn everyone wanted to be on that show cause it was so good. We worked behind the scenes constantly coming up with stuff and I was on top of my game. Had an awesome feud with Shaven's John Cena, which I will say is the BEST John Cena I've ever seen, and we had a drag out brawl in our trash talks. I mean mannnnnnn it was epic. I still remember in one match... it was triple threat but mainly tween me and him and he came out with this 5 page long trash talk and at the end he said "just bring it"... so I was like aight... 7 pages later I'm like... "what then." heh

it was just fun. Ah man good times. Rated R Raw was the best.
