What does she offer otherwise? She's terrible on the mic, worse than nothing in the ring, not believable in any role, and is in general an instant channel changer. And there's no reason to stockpile her because no other company would take her.

Because she is hot! She can stay as long as she wants!

LOL yes, the old 'wrestling is fake, I'm so original coming up with this fact nobody knows!' thing :lmao They say it like they're the first person ever to say it. Whenever wrestling gets a bit of mainstream attention and our news sites post about it, in the comment section there's always some joker who thinks he's original with that lmfao. I still remember someone saying it, and their profile pic was Harry Potter themed, cos HP is just so real, right? :jade

Basically anything the modern day fan comes out with. 'Titles aren't props' springs to mind. Mostly everything else has been said.

Wrestling is predetermined, not fake. Unlike movies that employ stunt doubles, harnesses, and crash mats, there's nothing fake about wrestlers breaking their bodies on a weekly basis or a wrestler falling 20 feet off a ladder or a steel cage thru a table or to the floor. That's real and it hurts.

I wrestled, I could tell you it’s 100% fake.

You only get hurt if you do something incorrectly or something outside the bounds of Pro wrestling, Non-Wrestling stunt work such as falling off cages, ladders etc. even in the area of that stunt work, like movies is still absolutely fake.

Professional Wrestling is fake, it isn’t real and is a fake concept based on the real combat sport know as Wrestling.

Not at the rate wrestlers do. I really shouldn't have to explain to you the difference between harnesses, stunt doubles, like you just admitted, not the ACTORS, and crash mats, compared to the wrestlers literally taking REAL bumps in the ring 300 days a week and all the other stunts they do for REAL. No wrestler uses safety measures to fall off cages and ladders and thru tables. The entertainment is scripted, but the bumps are not fake.

Bumps don’t hurt, this is something wrestlers sell.

I even fell for it and got worked so hard that I was nervous before my first bump. the shock when I took my first bump and it didn’t hurt a bump.

Even in a hard boxing ring I used in the Bronx(since they’re cheap to not get a rigged soft wrestling ring) it doesn’t hurt.

I could continue to list all the wrestlers that have had their bodies worn down from repeated bumps in the ring, the wrestlers that no longer have cartilage in their joints, broken necks, history of CTEs, torn quads, biceps, graveyards littered with workers that got addicted to pain killers from the constant pain they are in from bumping on wood and steel and concrete 300 days a year, but I don't think this conversation is gonna go anywhere fruitful.

So agree to disagree. Have a good one.

I'd love to know how Foley faked that, but no worries. Have a good one. :deadcat

That’s not Professional wrestling, that’s falling off a cage.

Moves, matches etc are completely fake.

Even the cage fall, he’s jumping off and turning his body to land on the “sweet spot” of his back to spread his momentum on a rigged table, it softens the impact and barely hurts as with most table spots.

Its Foley’s job to make a fan like you think he really got pushed off and that it really hurt.

Had it been real, with no back bump, no rigged safety table, and not jumping, he wouldn’t be able to walk, even if he wanted to.

And if you still think that he could then you’ve been worked masterfully.

Hence why despite being a snowflake, Foley is one of the best workers in the wrestling business.

He will always sell this, and his NWO 2000 bump, even though none of them hurt.

What did hurt was the chokeslam through the cage and to the ring, not the bump itself but the botch where the chair hit him, broke his tooth and knocked him out.

"Had it been real." You and I will remain at an impasse if you're gonna look at that fall and say it's not real.

He can turn his back and land on a table designed to crumble, but man fell 20 feet off a cage. That bump was real and it hurt.

He went to the hospital with two missing teeth, multiple stitches below his lip, a dislocated jaw, a concussion, bruised kidney and a dislocated shoulder.

And again, the laundry list of workers with destroyed bodies from years of bumping seem to disagree with your general premise. So agree to disagree.

I have to say you're one of my favorite new members here for saying with a straight digital post face that Mick Foley's bumps didn't hurt.

Foley did many things that hurt, C4 matches, getting his ear caught, thumbtacks, chokeslam through cage botch where chair concussed him and broke his tooth.

But the fall to the announce table off the HIAC and the NWO 2000 bump weren’t one of them. Those were safe and rigged.
