Drew McIntyre's 'Gay' Gimmick?

We noted last week here on the website that WWE SmackDown star Drew McIntyre will be getting a new “arrogant playboyâ€￾ gimmick. At a weekend WWE SmackDown live event in Honduras, Drew started the new gimmick and was acting sexual and flirting with male fans in the crowd. Before the match, he was seen blowing kisses at some of the males.

It should also be noted that McIntyre stopped the match at one point to comb his hair.

McIntyre wound up losing the match to Ezekiel Jackson.

I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently this story first broke on Lords of Pain so I'm more than a little skeptical. However, I'll reserve passing judgement or closing this thread until I hear more.

I don't see drew doing anything else so why not. And I love how wwe just abandons the drew getting fired storyline. He's not even appearing in backstage segments with Teddy Long anymore. I think after losing 20 matches in a row teddy would have fired him by now. I'm so sick of wwe doing story lines and not finishing them. Jesus fucking Christ.

Ion isn't gay either, he's just playing a pretty boy gimmick like Rick Martel did, albeit obviously not as good as that.

The McIntyre/Williams team works well, would be great for in-ring and I'm sure their promos would be decent. I don't hold out any hope of Drew going to TNA though, unless he's released of course.
