You have put away the paper plates and put out your best crockery. You have laid the table rather than eating in front of the tv. You can invite five living people for dinner, who would you choose?

For me I think I would go with (although if you asked me next month I would probably have a different list);

Penn Jillette - Magician/Comedian that is hilarious to watch on tv. Would be the life of the party and can entertain all the guests.
Neil deGrasse Tyson - Astrophysicist that has an incredible knowledge and has a sense of humour as well.
Anthony Bourdain - Chef that has hosted quite a few television series. Would make him cook plus he is so well travelled that he would have so many great stories to tell.
Sir Roger Moore - Famously played James Bond. I am such a Bond mark and he is one that hasn't shied away from being connected to the role even after all these years and is more than happy to talk about it. Probably my favourite Bond as well.
Kane - My favourite wrestler of all time so I had to include him.

Pretty eclectic mix there if I do say so myself. All from different fields, probably should have picked another intellectual but it is what it is. If it did happen would provide for some weird but entertaining conversations. Went against picking the five hottest women I could think of as I wouldn't want to eat dinner with them, would skip straight to dessert :giggity:

To be fair Kane and Penn Juilette are very intellectual people, and I assume that Tyson would be one as well.

Mine would be:

Bryan Cranston: Very good and hilarious actor, probably would be the life of the party.. err dinner.

Victor Wooten:
One of the most down to earth people that I've ever read about and easily the greatest bassist in the world today. Would love to strike up a conversation with him about a lot of things bass or non-bass related.

Samuel L. Jackson: Same reasons as Cranston, minus the being hilaroius, plus being awesome as fuck.

Joe Rogan: A very knowledgeable guy of many topics (comedy, martial arts) and would be a general good fellow to be around with.

Neil Patrick Harris:
Good actor, decent magician, the funniest guy on television to date, singer AND dancer... yeah consider him invited.

Steve Kostanski Writer/Director/everything else that needed to be done behind the scenes for Father's Day & Manborg, founder of Astron-6.

Todd McFarlane Artist for Batman, Spider-Man, co-creator of Venom, and creator of Spawn. One of the founding fathers of Image Comics.

Tommy Tallarico Videogame composer best known for his work on Earthworm Jim, cousin of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, and founder of Videogames Live!

Lloyd Kaufman President of Troma Entertainment, maker of such great films as The Toxic Avenger, and Class of Nuke'em High.

Clive Barker Famed horror author who has also delved into videogames, movies, and even comic books for a sequel to the original Hellraiser film.

Would be one weird ass conversation with those 5, but there wouldn't be a lack of conversation from any in the group.

Michael Jordan: Arguably the greatest Basketball player of all time and the most recognizable sports icons ever. And most importantly star actor of one of the greatest movies of all time SPACE JAM!

Jay-Z: For me Jay is my favorite rapper of all time, he was the first RAP/HIP-HOP! album i ever heard and since that day I've been hooked.

Ric Flair: Greatest Wrestler Of All Time! What more needs to be said.

Peyton Manning: Former Indianapolis QB, now Denver QB. Top 10 maybe even top 5 QB to ever play the game and the reason I started watch NFL back in 2003.

Dave Chappelle: Pretty obvious why Dave was picked, one of the most hilarious people in the world.

So yeah as you can see I'm a huge sports fan and would just love to talk sports and hear stories all night long. Also got comedy cause everyone loves to laugh.

Great topic/Thread!

1. Giorgio A. Tsoukalos: Co-Creator of the History Channel's Ancient Aliens... World famous Alien researcher and historian... Could listen to him talk for hours

2. Jim Jeffries: Stand-up comedian... Straight forward in your face no nonsense approach to comedy, would certainly add his 2 cents to any and all debates

3. Charles Manson: Serial Killer (sort of)....I mean c'mon... who wouldn't want the chance to pick this guy's brain for an hour or 2..... or better yet
just sit back and listen to the crazy pouring out of his mouth

4. Mandy Moore: Actress.... she's crazy hot, and seems to be a cool down to earth chick from what I've read while stalking her, I mean following her on Twitter

5. Marcus Mumford: Lead Singer/guitarist Mumford and Sons.... any proper dinner must also have proper musical accompaniment, he's brilliant

Unless they were going to give me a check with my name on it for a million dollars, I wouldn't waste my time I would rather take my parents out to dinner.

Alright, I'll do this.

1. Gary Busey. Hilarious genius, clearly.

2. Shane Hagadorn. Deserves serious respect.

3. DMX. Gotta have this big timer.

4. The Bravado Brothers. They are small enough to take up only one seat.

5. CenationHLR23. Enough said.

Don't forget Gail Kim is tied up in the basement.
