Seems like they took the world after the Halo 4 game and injected it with characters from Mass Effect 3. Not sure just not enough here at this point for a real opinion.

I kind of hope this isn't an Xbox exclusive. Looks like an interesting game, like you said, looks to have a bit of Halo and a bit of Mass Effect. Kind of hope it's an RPG style game though. Looks very interesting. Not a whole lot to go on, but hopefully Bungie sheds more light on this.

For a game so new, unique and new, it looks awfully familiar.

First person Shooter. But yeah for a "revolutionary" first person shooter set to change the genre forever seems a bit on the familiar side.

The game looks beautiful, and the features they were talking about with the evolving enviroments sounds like it could be interesting. I just hope there is some major announcement about how much different this is from FPS games we have seen for the last 15+ years.

I think it's exclusive to the next-gen Xbox and the Xbox 360.

The next Xbox will probably need a 24/7 internet connection, in fact, I'm sure of it.

I'd actually be kind of pissed if it was Xbox exclusive. But not entirely surprised. Considering Bungie has really only done Xbox exclusives. I just hope I can find an Xbox for cheap that has wireless.

Sorry, I got that wrong. Exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

However, the latest news article on the video game says that the game is not scheduled for a 2013 release though, guess the current gen consoles do have some life left in them after all. Lets hope the PS3 gets two or three more exclusive video games....I'd buy it for sure. The PC is basically just a jacked up Xbox 360 anyway.

It is actually not exclusive to any platform, Destiny just won't be available on the PC.
I am following this game very closely, I think this has the potential to redefine co-op games, I can't wait to see more on the customization!
They have a ten year plan in place to release episodes of the game with DLC in between the full releases, it is an even stronger deal than Bungie had with Microsoft.
They did say Destiny is available for the PS3, Xbox 360, you can preorder the game on those systems and at the Sony conference they had time on there to announce Destiny coming to PS4 and that the Sony version would have certain exclusives (did not say if the exclusives were timed or not).

Seems to me similar to games like Red Faction, Half Life, etc. But the game will have massive DLC updates still not thinking it'll be that special could be wrong.

Another generic first person shooter set in the future, or on another planet. These are really getting old. Seems like the only games that can come out now are first person shooters, or the annual sports games. The graphics look great, but they all do now.

I'm not a "first person shooter guy" kind of guy, there certainly are a ton of non-FPS and sports games coming out every year. FPS is just the most popular genre and has been for years now, don't see that changing any time soon either.
As for Destiny there is no other FPS game out there doing what Bungie has said their game is offering, granted anyone who isn't a fan of FPS games or scifi games aren't going to care about those details to begin with.
I certainly am not saying this couldn't turn out to be another MAG or Brink, but the fact that Bungie is behind it makes it far more promising. I can't wait to see more on this game, since it won't be out until 2014 most likely there is still much for them to disclose.
