I read another report the other day that mentioned that Dean Ambrose was once again on the road with WWE. He has been working dark matches on the road on and off for close to a year. When will his time come to be promoted to the main roster?

Dean Ambrose worked under the name Jon Moxley on the indy circuit and was a highly rated wrestler when WWE signed him. He has been one of the most talked about developmental talents in the past year along with Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) because he is so well known from the indy circuit. His main roster promotion can't be too far away due to the fact that he has been working dark matches for close to a year and his debut will come with high expectations.

When do you think he will be promoted to the main roster? Do you think that he will keep his current NXT gimmick when he debuts? Who would you like to see him feud with?

He hasn't appeared on NXT yet, so you probably mean will he keep his FCW gimmick.

From what I read, he apparently over the weekend came out with his own titantron on the Raw house shows, which makes you think he must be close to a call up. Whether he'll get the call up to Raw or hell, maybe even put him on the NXT shows for a few weeks before moving him to Raw, remains to be seen. But they have to do something soon, especially as he's not featured in the new NXT. His last appearance was just before FCW closed and became NXT, so hopefully they finally do something good with him soon and stop having him work Dark matches and House Show's.

I'm going to say after Hell in a Cell when CM Punk is still Champion, I sense something will happen revolving Ambrose then.

Guy has the package to be a top star. From what I have read, his dark matches are pretty solid. I'd probably mark out if he got promoted and feuded with a guy like Sandow.

FCW is now NXT so technically it is a NXT gimmick but I get what you are saying.

Interesting that he has his own titantron, surely if they are going to give him that then he must be very, very close to getting a call up. The fact that they haven't used him on NXT tv gets me thinking that they are holding him back so that he can move straight into the main roster. Add to that the fact that he is consistently being called up to the road so WWE must be close to using him. WWE are still struggling to fill the midcard divisions so it would be a good time to introduce another guy that could fill one of the many gaps on the roster.

I am actually fine with him remaining in developmental for a period of time. I mean no offence to a lot of these Indy guys, I think they lack the skills of carrying themselves as a star and really cutting a solid promo. Being where he is, will do wonders for Ambrose and I know when he debut's it will be great and a fast impact. I wish Sin Botcha woulda stayed in developmental for a year.

Since when did they have Trons at house shows? That was one part of the report that really caught me off guard, as I have never seen the trons used at them. Makes me think whoever reported that is just trying to blow smoke.

Must be when they changed the look of the live events

I don't think we'll have to wait too much longer until he gets called up to the main roster. The guys been in developmental for a very long time now, and has worked house shows for WWE before, so what else is there to learn? You'd swear stepping up to the main roster is the hardest thing in the world; I imagine Ambrose would be just fine if he stepped into a ring on a televised show tomorrow. He looks well capable of holding his own, no matter the environment.

He doesn't have a divine right to be in the main event like most of you assume.

CM Punk had to go through developmental and he's a hundred times the star Ambrose is.

I'm hoping to see Ambrose/Orton right from the beginning. It would be a huge rub for Ambrose and he will get the best out of a face Randy Orton. Jesus Christ, that could be legendary.

Cork, he's been working developmental in FCW for a while now. Why have him in NXT when he's capable of making an impact instantly?

Please tell me what you are basing this on.

I don't care what www.indywrestlingreviews.us says, he's still unproven and untested in the big leagues. Yes, he has a good gimmick but it is weird all the same and could be too bizarre to get over on the main roster.

Plus, his size. If he debuted against Orton I would laugh him off my TV.
