“The Ascensionâ€￾ Conor O’Brian cut a heel promo on his way to the ring at last night’s RAW live event where he lost to Zack Ryder. O’Brian tweeted after the show:
“The Ascension rose tonight at #WWEMontgomery. Beware, WWE. You’ve had fair warning.â€￾

Wrestlenewz.

So he is getting some chances at main roster in live events just like most of NXT Superstars. Didn't watch this guy a lot but not a fan of him. He is not very talented in ring but his current gimmick in NXT is a bit different, a bit interesting to me as he is continuing to interrupt Big E. Even if he will make it to main roster I do not think that he will remain long, as he is not very talented when you compare him with rest of NXT roster. He will be one of the jobbers than he will be released. I don't have huge dreams for him in the future.

Your opinion? Will Ascension rise or it will fall?

Roughhouse O'Riley, watched as he was working with the likes of Miz, Knox, & Gallows in OVW. The Ascention gimmick is alot better than the gimmick he had back then, but he is a very solid in ring performer, and if he has stuck it out this long in development, then I have to believe he is going to be a lifer, its not hard to see he is loyal.

Clicked on this thread because I thought it was something about Conan O'Brien.

Disappointed.

Looks like they're setting up for a replacement for the Undertaker.

Wouldn't be surprised if he fails to rise in todays current day.

After Kenneth Cameron was released it seemed like he lost his best shot at promotion to the main roster which would have been as a tag team. Good to see him getting a shot on some live events as a singles wrestler. Would have been pretty terrible if he dropped to the back of the line just because his former tag team partner got himself released. I like the gimmick but I think it would still be better if he was brought up as part of a tag team rather than just on his own.

Like the gimmick and the stuff he has done on NXT with it. Would be cool to see a new, dark character as it feels like ages since we last had one.
