CM Punk Attacked Fan

In some good news for the WWE, PWInsider reported on Oct. 10 that the fan that CM Punk attacked on WWE Monday Night Raw will not file charges against the wrestler or the WWE for the incident.






The incident happened during the final segment of Raw when Punk fled from an attacking Ryback after Punk's match with Vince McMahon. Punk ran through the crowd and stood there while McMahon gave him an ultimatum.






However, while Punk was up there, a fan came up behind him and punched Punk in the kidney. Punk spun around and shoved the person he thought did it, although it turned out to be the wrong person. A news station interviewed the fan after Raw and said he was a little angry that Punk attacked him without knowing for sure who actually did it, but didn't seem too angry.







Now, the Sacramento Police Department said no charges were filed and they are not investigating the matter. In more news, the CBS affiliate from Sacramento reports that the fan still has the option to hire an attorney and sue the WWE.




Meanwhile, the fan who said he was the one who hit Punk has been filling up his Twitter account with more claims that he is proud of what he did, while attacking anyone who apparently called him out on it.




For his part, CM Punk issued an apology and gave his side of the story.
"I think the whole situation sucks," Punk said. "It's an unfortunate and isolated incident. I was up in the stands, surrounded. Somebody said, ‘let's push him down the stairs. I got hit in the ribs three times. I was getting shoved and I was getting punched…Then I started getting tagged in the back of the head. Unfortunately, I lashed out in the heat of the moment and I apologize. I'm really just glad nobody was hurt."

It's good to see the guy obviously only hit Punk by accident but Jesus, some fans were actually trying to shove him down the stairs!

No. Reread it again. The guy who Punk attacked didn't even attack him. Watch the video, and read the thing again. The guy who was attacking Punk was doing it, and ducking. And then then rising to do it again, and ducking, prompting Punk to attack the guy who wasn't doing it. -_-

When putting on his sunglasses his arm hits Punk's head, Punk assumes he's the guy that's been pushing him. You can clearly see this.

I think you need to watch the video more clearer. It's obvious the guy in grey standing behind Punk, reaching up to smack him in the head, and duck down, he does it like two or three times and then elbows the guy in the black. The guy in the grey is the guy who twitter is linked and claiming what he did. XD

Your slow my friend. And obviously blind. Do you not see between the 8 second and 10 second mark, where THE guy who "story" is also about, reach his hand up...clearly in a grey long shirt, mug CM was the guy while the guy in black was raising his arms up. Stop arguing with me. I can see clearly what happened. The fan was attacked for no reason. Period.

Jesus Christ, I see him. That's not who I'm talking about at all. The dude that got attacked, his arm accidentally hit Punk's head and that's why Punk attacked him. It was accident, and that's my whole point.

Would someone else educate this guy. I'm done arguing with you. Admit it you got proven wrong my friend. No Punk attacked him because what was said in the thing. And Punk was clearly getting slapped in the back of the head. Before he attacked the guy in black, he was smacked in the back of the head, thinking it was him, he elbowed him. Your wrong. I'm right, it's ok to be wrong sometimes. Can't win them all.

The dude that got attacked, his arm accidentally hit Punk's head and that's why Punk attacked him.

No. By this here your disagreeing with me. And to be honest I see what your saying, but that's not what happen. The guy's elbow never even touched him. You see he is so far away that Punk can actually do a 360 turn and elbow him, with no resistance. It was the guy who kept tagging Punk in the back of the head and because the guy was raising his hands was thought to be doing it. Yes, it was a mistake but you can plainly see he doesn't touch him. It's the guys hand that touches him as he clearly plans it just right to make it look like someone else did it. I used to do this to people all the time. I should know.

Actually, Castiel, exactly right when that dude put on his glasses (I actually thought his arm hit him in the back of the head too), some guy in a white shirt pushed the back of Punk's head and then backed away like a little bitch (on the video, it does look like the sunglasses dude hit Punk in the head on accident), and that's when Punk swings at him.

So, from what I saw, the sunglasses dude didn't even do anything on accident or on purpose. But, like you, I thought the same exact thing.

The guy shouldn't want to sue. He got shoved by a celebrity so he should be happy about it since it will most likely never happen again. #punkforthewin
