Just listening to the Punk chants during Jericho's entrance at the PPV and a look at social media accounts and you can definitely see that the Punk hardcore fanboy corner was one of the driving forces behind this and I'm sure that Hausman guy was banking on that as well.

I don’t personally think Punk is plotting against AEW, but I do agree the people that orbit him or the fans who worship him online are embarrassingly entrenched in making everything a shot in their imaginary war.
