Yeah this is exactly what I had planned, trying to plan out main event programmes for the likes of Cena, Orton, Rollins and working down from that. I'm going to try get everything written out to know exactly where I am going then hopefully start the thread maybe early next week. I feel like cutting some superstars such as Omos so will have to see how that goes as can't see me using him much. I would only write RAW and SD probably, no NXT but maybe call up their superstars here and there.
Yeah honestly I'd recommend not doing more than 2 weekly shows. It is a lot doing 2 3 hours shows let alone another 2 hours too

Hey y'all I am working on my Alternative Pro Wrestling idea and I have been reading a lot of awesome btbs to get ideas.

I was just wondering how do some of you have custom logos?

I'm going to start up again with some new ideas for my BTB . I'm going to start in the next month or so as I need to get some more ideas in place for the way I want to do it. Only going to do a show at a time as I rushed it out with the last one and took this great bit of advice on board. I've just not had the time bit with the summer coming up and a couple of days of a week from work due to family commitments. I look to continuing reading all others BTB with keen interest.

Morning All,

Just thought I would introduce myself to the forum. I have restarted by BTB which centres around private equity investment into NJPW and NWA and the idea that an alternative sports / realism based company could be created through amalgamting them both.

I prefer this one to my previous attempt which was starting in 2016/2017 and following the birth of a new organisation with investment from the Khan Family. I felt like too much time had passed with that one and I would constantly be playing catch up to present day.

With this new BTB, Its present day. It does present issues though. The landscape has now changed and many wrestlers are tied down elsewhere. But you have to start somewhere and play the long game.

I hope you all enjoy.

Welcome to the forum. Very interesting concept - good luck with it and most importantly, have fun!

Hello BTBers

I'm trying to get as many people as possible into predictions, and with this new easier format there's no better time to join

I'll be happy to check it out Sky.

Prediction contests are a neat way to get interaction. Theoretically, it helps people get invested and encourages them to read your angles.

In practice, Ive never been successful with them. For me, it was disheartening to see people voting that obviously weren't even skimming my BTB. I imagine there are a few reasons for this, but it defeated the purpose I was hoping to use it for. I also hate feeling like I'm manipulating the writer by setting an expectation.

Evening All,

My BTB is now going to be more present day. I have tried to set the scene from conception to where we are now. I think I will move to a more 'Diary' vibe with what Manson and the rest of the team would be getting up to most weeks as well as 'News' spliced in.

Just a quick reminder that voting for the Booker of the Month for June is ongoing. I'd really like to encourage more members to vote this month.

Last month, we only had seven members vote. Of those voters, three of them didn't have projects eligible. With as many open projects we have ongoing (by my count, we have 21 eligble this month), I'd really like to encourage more particpation.

I know it can feel like a pain in the ass for a lot of you. I get it. A huge part of voting is reading others work and that can be hard. Reading 5 BTBs, doing your own, in addition to life.... It can be a lot. This is not a post intended to shame anyone or bitch about other wirters. This is more of a call to ask members to get involved and join a great bunch of writers.
If you are on the fence, please consider skimming three titles that interst you. You don't even need to an in=depth read with feedback....just look it over, check out the results and rank three. Then send it to Dubb. Don't feel like youu have to read EVERY BTB, give feedback, etc.

This is just a hobby for people making up wrestling stories for fun. I think a lot of us would get a lot of enjoyment if we are sharing and not just posting into a vacuum. This is a great community. Most of you I have interacted with for years. I'd really like to see it expand and grow.

Well said Rhyno and thank you for saying that.

We're up to five votes so far. Still got a few days to get them in.
