That is a good call actually. Checking, and Strong had a tryout match in TNA around that time and was never picked up. I was hesitant to add him given that he likely had heat with some people in the back over showing up late to a 2006 pay per view, but apparently Austin Aries was in the same boat and he became World Champ so IDK

What about Paul London? Brian Kendrick is on your roster right? At least according to the wikis- Could form London & Kendrick again.

That didn't turn out so well so maybe he either he or WWE realizes it isn't gonna work out earlier than they did irl

Also I feel like Shelton Benjamin could've been there... he got released from the WWE in April 2010

Sami Callihan and Arik Cannon could be interesting guys for TNA as well at that time...

I've realised I could totally get Bobby Fish too - he got a tryout against the guy who would become Robbie E. And O'Reilly and Cole haven't signed their exclusive contracts with ROH until August. Awfully tempting to just... form the Undisputed ERA seven years early.

As an exercise for myself, I'm going through the TNA Gut Check archives and seeing how many future stars they missed out on.

At various periods between 2010 and 2013, TNA saw in these seminars (and missed) Tommaso Ciampa, Lionheart (RIP), Bobby Fish (a second time), Kelly Klein, Ember Moon, LuFisto, Nikki Cross, and Shanna. And that's just the names I recognise off the top of my head.

Was that the one they did in the UK with like The Blossom Twins also winning I wanna say? I don't remember that one too well bc it wasn't shown on Impact as much, and I didn't watch the actual show.
