Bella Twins Want Diva Tag Titles

WWE Magazine (February 2014 issue), Nikki Bella said:

“We’ve been begging to get that done for years! It’d be a great chance to see what us girls could come up with. New finishers, new names, new gear. We’re all so talented and creative and it’d be great to show that in a new way.”

Brie Bella added:

“Girls gang up on girls. It’s life. We sit down, we gossip, we group together naturally. Why not bring a little bit more of that aspect to WWE?”

I am not huge on the idea but with the rumors of a planned divas in ring show at some point on the network it might be feasible. It would at least make these diva tags that are all too often, less random if they added them ... BFFs vs Bella Twins vs Funkadactyls

Just bring out an all divas show and place it on the network.

Adding more titles in the WWE is the last thing they need to do imo. What's wrong with the Bellas becoming Co-Divas Champions or something?

Just no. WWE doesn't care enough about Divas to use them properly, they can barely handle booking 1 Diva's title, let alone 2. At that they can barely handle booking the WWE WHC belt let alone the tag, divas, IC, US titles, last thing they need is another prop that never gets used.

TNA proved it would be a bad idea, even with the size of TNA Knockout division they failed to get the Knockouts Tag Titles off the ground.

They have a large enough roster that they had 7 on 7 matches, and still have women not getting tv time. They have AJ/Tamina, The Bellas, The Funkadactyles. could easily call up Sasha Banks to have her with Summer Rae, and the foundation is already in place. Lita & Trish may even get a WM shot at the belts which would definitely help solidify the belts, and who knows who could swim to shore from TNA.

It could work, but WWE would have to seriously put some thought behind it first.

Considering over 20 women are currently employed with the company that work in ring(so leaving out Renee/Lillian/etc.), how does taking 8 of them(leaving atleast 12 others for potential challengers for the Diva's belt) demolish the singles division?

Then you have TNA "talent" that will be out of a job soon enough, and I could see Lie'D Tapa being something the WWE may look at, Gail Kim could have another return, or they could always hire more from the indies/modelling agencies.

They in no way have enough women to hold a proper show on their own, but they do have enough a tag belt could work for getting more women on tv more often.

Because you've just taken three of the more established teams with 2 of them (AJ/Tamina & Bellas) being regulars in the singles division and moved them to the tag division for no reason other than for having a new set of belts.

That leaves Aksana, Eva & Rosa who are utter garbage, Alicia who the WWE doesn't seem to want to push again despite some of her best stuff being in NXT, Layla who is well past it now and been MIA forever, Summer Rae who's essentially a "rookie" on the main roster and Nattie who doesn't need anything saying about her and then you're relying on the NXT crew to try and save the singles side.

Why on earth people think this is a good idea I have absolutely no idea considering they can't even book the one womens division they've got now in an interesting way, let alone two.

So many reason why this is a bad idea one of them being that diva tag team matches are always among the worst type of matches which that alone makes it not worth doing. Push for more T.V time and storylines first instead of another title for 3 min tag matches.
