David Goyer wrote the script of MoS. Enough said.

He also did the script for BvS but Chris Terrio did a rewrite.

Yup I liked Man of Steel, it had its problems but overall a good film. I have confidence as well, this movie will be leaps and bounds even better.

However, if you want a real answer, it's because I simply have no faith in Zack Snyder. I haven't enjoyed a single one of his movies save for a few moments in Watchmen and therefore I have no hope that he'll suddenly wow me with this.
