AAA already inked a deal to be on El Rey network. Launching stateside some time this year.

Alberto del Río and AAA President Joaquín Roldan. Del Rio announced that he no longer will be using the name Del Rio because WWE owns the name. Going forward he will be known as El Patron (The Boss). El Patron was his nickname on the Spanish language version of WWE programming but it was never trademarked by WWE.

He also said that his 90 day no compete won't allow him to wrestle but his lawyers are working on it and hopefully will be able to wrestle this Sunday at TripleMania. If he doesn't wrestle it would only put more heat on WWE and make him a bigger babyface. He challenged El Texano Jr. for the AAA World Heavyweight Title.

He didn't give details about his firing from WWE because of legal reasons but said that he would talk about it in a few weeks. He said that he doesn't know Rey Mysterio's situation. Roldan said that Mysterio is under contract with WWE and as long as that's the case then they can't tamper with him but they would be open to bringing him in once his contract expires.

Yeah, I didn't watch the video but apparently it just showed Rey in a sombrero at the end of the PPV.

I will not miss Alberto Del Rio. He was overpushed and buried superstars that had more talent than he did. This individual seemed to lack charisma and that's why the WWE fanbase didn't give him much of a reaction during his reign as the World Heavyweight Champion.
