This is pretty shocking until I read the possible reason as to why he was fired. That would be pretty fucking nuts. Curious to see what he does next whether he decides to just go back to wrestle in Mexico or does something like sign with TNA though that wouldn't be very smart right now with their T.V deal and all.

I honestly was about to laugh if it was The Miz like twitter kept saying. Because considering the Batista/Booker fight and some other shit that's gone down over the last 10ish years, it would have been funny for that to have been why he got let go.

But if it is Dunn...well, you can kinda understand WHY Del Rio slapped him. Not saying it was smart... but you'd understand.

Sadly, this is the most interesting thing to happen to Del Rio in his entire WWE career.

On a serious note though, he may not have been the most popular guy, but he did consistently put on some real good matches. I won't miss him and him being gone won't hurt anything, but he was still a great in-ring performer even if I wasn't a big fan. Had a nice career on paper too if you look at it for what that's worth.

He just had match of the night with Ambrose on Raw and I was reminded how good he is, which made me look up the match where he kicked the shit out of Ziggler.

So I was just starting to like him again and then this bloody happens. I thought his contract was meant to run out a little while ago, funny I assumed he'd be safe for a bit longer. It'd be good to hear the story of why he slapped Dunn and got himself fired.

God I hope the Kevin Dunn story is true and he slapped that goofy fuck around.

I have no faith in TNA using him right if they did sign him, but he'd still be their best wrestler.

Also inb4 "maybe GFW will sign him". No.

AAA or back to CMLL, AAA being the likeliest and than I can hear Konnan talk about how he doesn't suck anymore and isn't boring.

Major Alberto Del Rio Update
Posted By: Richard Hughes on Aug 08, 2014
Source: f4wonline.com

While details are still coming in from various sources & wrestlers, the story going around this morning is that Del Rio slapped a Social Media Manager at this weeks television (Likely Raw, since he wasn't on Smackdown).

The lead up to the confrontation started in catering, when sombody (assuming a catering staff member) asked the person (the Social Media Manager) to clean off his plate. The social media manager then joked about how that's "Del Rios Job".

Alberto found out and confronted him. The Social Media Manager didn't apologize and then smiled at him, so Del Rio slapped him.

In the company, the belief is that Del Rio will have his 90 days non-compete clause as per standard in the WWE, which will prevent a move to atleast TNA and more than likely AAA. AAA will be very interested in him, as they continue interest in its U.S. growth.

So we owe the guy who stooged off the "social media manager" for getting Del Rio fired.

Probably Sin Cara, Ziggler or Ryder so they don't have to keep putting him over so he looks like a threat.
