Chapter Six - Part One

This is the TNT Era

After defending the belt against QT Marshall at All Out, Rush would cut a promo about how important it was to be the first TNT Champion and the man that had the privilege of representing the promotion as one of its premier champions. The moment would be cut short, as he would be attacked mid-interview by Scorpio Sky who would continue the segment with Rush lying at his feet. Scorpio would make it clear that he had been part of this company since its inception and that he had grown sick of waiting for his chance and instead he was taking control of his own destiny and he was literally growing the grab the opportunity by the horns and would make it clear that from this point onwards he would do everything in his power to claim possession of the TNT Championship. The following week on Dynamite Rush and Scorpio Sky would juke it out for the belt, with Sky giving a good account of himself, but it being the champion who would retain control of the strap once more.

Scorpio would continue to be a pain in Rush’s behind though - as he would run interference in the contest between Rush and Christopher Daniels and end up giving Rush the win, but only after he had entered the ring and smashed the championship belt square into Rush’s face. This act of aggression would obviously create more heat, with the Irons Horns and SCU ending up having a massive backstage brawl on the go-home of Dynamite prior to Fall Brawl, with it being announced that Rush and Scorpio would do battle once again - and once again it would be Rush whom would claim a second successive title defence over Sky.

In a clear attempt of adding insult to injury Rush would make a mockery of Scorpio and say he was willing to give him one final shot at this belt on the fallout show, but once he beat Sky for the third time he didn’t want to hear from him again. However, Scorpio would take the opportunity with both hands and end up leaving Rush absolutely shocked as he would nail him with the Fatal Answer to pick up the victory and become the new TNT Champion. Both Rush and Scorpio Sky would be involved in the Pumpkin Bowl, but wouldn’t advance out of the first round. Rush would interfere in Scorpio’s Sky match and end up costing him the victory, which in turn would see Sky getting involved in Rush’s match against The Butcher and just attacked Rush’s opponent leading to the match ending in disqualification - with both men’s pettiness getting in the way of each other pride.

Scorpio Sky, following Halloween Havoc would make it clear that Rush was behind him now and he was opening the door to new challengers and would end up calling out TJP from the back. This would prove to be his mistake though, as TJP would pick up a shock win over Scorpio Sky to become the new champion and ending an almost non-existent reign by the SCU member.

TJP would make a mockery of the Dark Order on the Dynamite ahead of Full Gear and offer an open challenge to any member of the stupid group at Full Gear, with Alex Reynolds being the man who would answer the call and make it clear that he might not have established himself yet in AEW, but he wasn’t going to let Perkins talk badly about him or his friends.

This Kidd Ain’t Playing

Gabriel Kidd was very much a Young Lion that AEW had decided to invest a lot of time in, and following his landmark win over Shawn Spears at All Out he now held a record of 4-0 and had turned some real heads. It would be announced on the fallout show following All Out, that Gabriel Kidd would be booked to face an opponent on an episode of Dynamite for the foreseeable future or until he suffered his first loss in what was labelled the ‘Kidd Challenge Series’ (KCS).

Gabriel would go on to double his tally of wins to go 8-0 with wins over Guevara, Mike Parrow, The Butcher and Matt Morris. After his win over Morris, Shawn Spears would make his way out from the back and would make it clear that he had been embarrassed at All Out, but fully intended to prove his loss to the Young Lion was nothing but a fluke. In his build up to Fall Brawl, Spears and Sabian would team up - with the TH4 combo claiming a tag team win over Jurassic Express. At Fall Brawl though, Gabriel Kidd would prove himself to be anything but a fluke as he would claim a second victory over Shawn Spears.

The KCS would continue with Kidd claiming victories over recent signings Black Taurus, Jonathan Gresham, Josh Alexander as well as Mr. Brodie Lee in another month in which Gabriel Kidd was very much proving himself as one of the hottest prospects on the roster.

Gabriel Kidd would continue to make a name for himself as the hottest Young Lion and the KCS would continue the following month with Kidd picking further wins over Black Taurus, Chase Owens, Evil Uno and Shawn Spears once again. The victory over Spears would actually take Kid to an impressive singles record of 17-0. Kidd wouldn’t be booked to take part at Full Gear, but would cut a promo where he would make it clear that at Winter is Coming he hoped to finally face a high calibre opponent that would really give him a chance to prove himself.

Nakamura x PAC - Act One

Nakamura would cap his victory over Chris Jericho in which he had forced The Painmaker into retirement, by claiming a singles victory over PAC on the fallout show and in doing so maintain his perfect AEW singles record intact, but also now have a clean victory over a former AEW World Champion. Nakamura wouldn’t shy away from wanting to fight though, as he would also wrestle on Rampage that same week this time claiming a win over Wardlow. After the match, PAC would come out from the back and make it clear that his loss to Shinsuke had been because of nothing, but his own fatigue and that losing to Ospreay was a far more challenging concept than dealing with an old washed out veteran like Jericho. PAC though would make it clear that both he and Nak had previously worked for another company and that both of them shared something in common, in that they had never been given the respect they deserved, but that unlike Nak had had forged a new path for himself that had led him to be marked down in history as the inaugural AEW World Champion.

‘The Bastard’ would make it clear that if Nakamura wanted to be remembered, then he was going to have to prove he was capable of beating a former world champion during a high pressure event when his opponent was at 100% and so would challenge him to face him at Fall Brawl, making it clear that if he wasn’t able to beat him in three weeks time then it was unlikely he was ever going to be seen as a prospective contender for the title.

PAC would cut a promo two weeks later, although instead shift his focus to current champion Omega. The Geordie wrestler would make it clear that Omega was nothing short of a coward, and that he had only invited Ospreay to join the Elite because he was scared that one day Will would be capable of taking the title away from him.

During go-home week on the episode of Dynamite PAC & Austin Aries would team up to claim the win over The Elite (Ospreay & Hangman) - with Austin and Will also set to face each other at Fall Brawl. PAC would demand a microphone after the match and make it clear that the only reason why he and Austin had won was because Hangman had been the weakest link, but that Austin Aries had no chance in hell of beating Ospreay this weekend. On Friday at Rampage, Nakamura would end up attacking PAC backstage and make it clear that PAC should be worried about him rather than playing this strange role as Ospreay’s cheerleader. The match itself would prove to be a really good match, with Nakamura picking up a very important win and keeping control of his own destiny.

Austin Aries x Will Ospreay - Act One

Ospreay would follow up his landmark victory over PAC at All Out by claiming an impressive win over the debuting Austin Aries and continue his unblemished singles record in AEW now holding a streak of 13-0. Aries would be clearly frustrated after the match and make it clear that Will had a long way to go be he was considered a true threat in the world title scene and it didn’t matter how many fans he had or how popular he thought he was, because at the end of the day he was just a young kid who had yet to prove himself in the big leagues and what he had done elsewhere was irrelevant.

A week later on Rampage, Ospreay would continue his solid run of form by claiming a victory over Hangman Page, only to be attacked after the match by Austin Aries who was wielding a steel chair with cruel intentions.

On the next episode of Dynamite, Ospreay would open the evening by claiming a win over Shawn Spears. Ospreay would open the night by claiming a win over Shawn Spears. After the match, the Elite would come out from the back and make it clear to Will that there was no doubt that he was one of the hottest talents on the roster and following his win over Hangman last week - wanted to offer him a spot in the Elite. Ospreay would accept the offer and become the fifth member of the group. He would then join Hangman in his corner, as Page would pick up a win over Wardlow.

PAC & Austin Aries would claim a win over The Elite (Ospreay & Hangman) - ahead of Ospreay’s match with Austin Aries set for Fall Brawl. PAC would make it clear after the match though, that he felt that the weak link had been Hangman - and that in a one on one scenario Austin Aries had no chance in beating Will.

During the go-home show Austin though would make it clear - that unlike PAC, he was a five time world champion and he was a legitimate big deal whilst PAC was a one time world champion and a developmental brand champion and that he was the superior man, and that he would be the man to end this bullshit once and for all. Austin Aries would prove to be only capable of talk, as Ospreay would claim another convincing win over Austin and there would be no question following Fall Brawl who the better man was despite their historical achievements.

Legacy of the Queen - Act One

On Rampage following All Out, Angelina Love would make it clear that losing a championship match wasn’t the worst thing in the world and that she had learned a lot from the loss so much so that she was confident the next time they fought the championship would leave in her hands. Angelina would make a point to make mockery of Love & Hayte and lose the titles and that like all good things, Oedo Tai would soon be reaching its expiry date.

On the next episode of Dynamite, Priestly would continue her tradition of being a fighting match and put on a solid performance as she would successfully defend against a challenging Ryo Mizunami. After the contest she would make it clear that she was the One True Queen of and that her legitimacy could never be challenged

The second episode of Atomic would begin with a Trios match between The Allure & JPN-gun - with the Allure picking up the win to their name, with Sky and Leon showing exactly why they were the tag team champions. After the match, Priestley would come out from the back and make it clear that if Angelina wanted a piece of her at Fall Brawl - she was going to have to beat her in a singles non-title match on next week's episode of Rampage, otherwise she would be forced to look elsewhere for an opponent. In the anticipated title match on Rampage, Priestley would defeat Angelina Love in a singles match - and would make it quite clear that because of the loss Angelina was no longer considered as a suitable candidate to be challenging for the belt.

A week later on Atomic, Priestley would announce that the evening’s main-event would be a triple threat match featuring three women which she had handpicked herself Kamille, Nyla Rose and Aja Kong and made it clear that the winner of the match would face her at Fall Brawl. Aja would claim the win and Bea would confirm that the pair would in fact face off at Fall Brawl - with the belt on the line. Bea and Priestley and Aja Kong would have a great match at Fall Brawl, with Bea really being pushed to her limit but still managing to retain the belt in the process. The victory would also mark the twelve successful defence of her belt of her second reign (but also 20th defence if both reigns were combined) - and was continuing to prove herself as one of the most dominant women in professional wrestling.

Best of British

Following Fall Brawl PAC and Ospreay would have a heated moment, where he would make it clear that Will’s win over Aries had been impressive, but that he needed to stop being a coward and actually push himself forward and challenge Omega for his World Championship instead of standing behind him and pretending to be friends with him. Ospreay would take offence to these comments though and make it clear that perhaps his win over PAC had been enough and that perhaps they needed to beat him again. PAC would make it clear that he relished the chance to get his hands on Will again and would beat some sense into him and get him to understand the reality of the situation.

In the build up, Ospreay would claim single victories over Billy Gunn and Austin A ries once again, with some intense promos with men just being very candid with how they felt about each other. In one of these promos PAC would make a bold claim that he believed Will was actually scared of challenging for the big title and that he was scared of failure and was instead just happy to be second place for the rest of his life. Both men would have an intense First Blood match which would end up earning a five star rating, with Ospreay singles record with AEW now at 20-0.

Two weeks following Halloween Havoc, both men would cross paths again with PAC making it clear that Ospreay may have proven himself as being very capable to challenge for the world championship, but just wished he would see his surroundings for what they truly were.

Omega x PCO - Monster Off The Leash

Following the incredible match that had taken place between Ishii and Omega in a match that had earned a 5.75 star rating and was now the highest ranked match in the history over AEW. The rivalry between both men had very much come to a conclusion, with it having been confirmed that Tomohiro Ishii had parted ways with the company and signed a contract with the National Wrestling Alliance. In a recorded video, Ishii would thank AEW and their fans for his time with the company and would say he had enjoyed his time with the company and that perhaps he would return one day.

Omega’s first moment on camera following All Out, would see him have a heated moment with Jake Hager. Kenny would make it clear that any bad blood Hager believed existed between both of them, simply aren't relevant anymore now that Jericho had hung up his boots the Jerk Circle and Night No Jericho were now ancient news. Jake Hager though would make it clear that he was his own man and was more than capable of standing on his own two feet. Omega would make it clear that Hager was simply no match for him, and would offer him a shot at his title later on tonight. Omega would pick up the win over Hager in the main-event that would allow Kenny to further assert his dominance. (It would emerge that Hager had also parted ways with AEW, and in a similar fashion to Ishii had instead signed with the NWA).

On the next week’s episode of Dynamite during a segment featuring The Elite, Kenny Omega would be interrupted by MJF. Maxwell would make it clear that for far too long whether it was Kenny or Tomohiro before him the AEW World Championship had been ring fenced and that so many prospective challengers had been forced to sit on the sidelines and have to watch rinse and repeats of the same feud for nearly entire six month cycle. MJF would make it clear that he was one of the key pillars in AEW and that was the future of the business and that he wanted a piece of the action. Omega would smile and make it clear that he respected Maxwell for his gumption, and confirmed that this Friday on Rampage - MJF would be one of three men that would contest for the right to challenge for the AEW World Championship at Fall Brawl.

In the triple threat match MJF would be forced to do battle with Jeff Cobb and PCO. MJF and Jeff Cobb would very clearly see themselves as the top two threats to each other, although by underestimating the elder PCO would be both their downfall as it would the the French Canadian Frankenstein who would have his armed raised at the end of the contest and earn himself a shot at the AEW World Championship. After the match PCO, would cut a post-match promo where for the next three weeks leading up to Fall Brawl every single night he would be climbing from underneath Omega’s bed and become the thing of nightmares right up until he ripped the world championship out from his unconcious hands.

On the next Dynamite, PCO would make it clear that unlike Omega’s previous opponent he wasn’t scared of violence and that he didn’t just want to hurt Omega at Fall Brawl, but intended to hurt him and that the only way two men could ever truly test each other was by way of weaponized warfare. Omega would make it clear that he wasn’t at all worried about the potential threat that PCO offered and was so confident ahead of their match that he would allow the French Canadian Frankenstein to pick their match stipulation at Fall Brawl. Later that week on Rampage a fight would breakout between the The Expendables (PCO & London) would attack Hangman and Omega whilst wielding straps in their hands, with it becoming clear that Omega and PCO would battle in a Strap match. It would later be confirmed that PAC would reunite with The Expendables, whilst Ospreay would team up with Hangman and Omega as two feuds would come together to create an even more exciting match on the go-home show. PAC, PCO & London would end up claiming the win, with PAC and PCO teaming up being somewhat of a throwback when both men had been part of the ‘Company of Bastards’.

At Fall Brawl both Kenny and PCO would finally do battle in an intense Strap Match, with men whacking the crap out of each other with their leather straps with it being clear that PCO seemed to enjoy the pain just as much as he enjoyed dishing it out. However, Kenny would prove to be too much for PCO as he would eventually pick up his man and nail him with the One-Winged Angel to retain the belt. The hatred between both men would only grow stronger following the event rather than offering any sort of closure, with PCO making it clear that his thirst would not be quenched until he had drained all of the blood from Omega’s body. This would lead to a further match between both men with even more violent encounters until both men would sign a contract to meet once again for the World Championship this time inside the confines of a Steel Cage. The second match between both men would end up being even better than a first in a truly brutal affair, that for some was being considered as one of the greatest cage matches of all time so much so that it would earn itself a six star rating in a match that would leave both men bloody and unable to stand on their own two feet, with both men having to be aided from the ring by official and medical workers alike. What made the match even more impressive, is that a match of such a high standard was something that people expected of being within Omega’s locker but certainly wasn’t something that anyone thought PCO would bring to the table.

Following Halloween Havoc, PCO would attempt to break into the Elite’s locker-room on the first episode of Dynamite. However he would end up being prevented from entering by the Young Bucks. A fight would break out instantly, with Paul London hiding around the corner and jumping into the melee as both parties would end up beating the crap out of each other - as Kenny Omega would sneak out the room and make a run for it avoiding another violent clash with PCO. Later that week Omega, would pick up a non-title win over Jay Lethal - but flee the ring once more as PCO would run out from the back to attempt another assault on the champ.

The next week PCO would end up getting what he wanted, as he would kick down the door of the Elite locker-room and end up beating the crap out of Omega and bombing him through a wooden table, before grabbing hold of the AEW World Championship and running away with the title. Later that week on Rampage PCO would cut a promo, with London at his side and would make it clear that he wouldn’t be returning Omega’s title until he had one final shot at him. The pair would be involved in an impromptu tag team match with The Expendables claiming the victory over Omega & Hangman Page.

Omega and PCO would have a final meeting, with PCO still in possession of Kenny’s title. Kenny would offer a contract to PCO that would give him a shot for the belt, one final shot at Full Gear - but that would require the French-Canadian Frankenstein to relinquish the belt. PCO would oblige and exactly that as he would hand Kenny the belt before grabbing him around the throat and slamming him down onto the canvas with a heavy handed chokeslam - setting up one final encounter between both men with the AEW World Championship as the bonding factor.

Best On The Block (Mejor En El Bloque) - Act Five

On the Dynamite fallout show following All Out, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and Tully Blanchard would have an exchange back time and both would come to a realisation that despite their respective teams TH2 and Dark Order had both now been tag team champions but during both their tenures neither teams had yet to battle in the ring. Tully would make it clear that the Dark Order weren’t expecting to just be handed another shot at the title, but instead they would prove themselves as the better tag team and force TH2 to drop down the ladder into a hole of mediocrity.

The first episode of Rampage would end up being a massive feature for the tag team division with Jacob Fatu making his AEW debut with a victory over Mark Briscoe. After the match Josef Samuel would enter the ring with a strange flag in his hand, which he would hand to Fatu and introduce them both as the founding members of Contra Unit and that they had come to AEW to instil morality and teach justice in the locker-room and that they would be scouting the rest of the roster to recruit like minded individuals;

Following becoming the new tag team champions at All Out, on the first episode of Rampage El Hijo del Vikingo would be joined by his tag team partner Fenix in his corner and would claim a victory over his partner's brother and former partner Pentagon, Jr.
Later that night, TH2 would claim a victory over the Young Bucks in the very first Rampage main-event.

During the next episode of Dynamite Vikingo and Pentagon, Jr. would have a heated moment backstage with Vikingo implying that he was the best option for Fenix moving forward and it was a shame how far that Penta had fallen that he had become jealous of his own flesh and blood’s success. It wasn’t all dreary for Penta though as later that night he would be paired up with Jacob Fatu as they would face Cryme Tyme in tag team action - with Penta picking up the win for the team. After the match Samael would offer Penta a chance to join the Contra Unit - which would be accepted and becoming the third member of the group. Caza Salvaje later that night would pick up a non-title victory over the Dark Order, with Rey Fenix making it clear that Uno and Grayson were going to have to work a lot harder if they ever wanted to challenge for the belts again.

Following their victory over the Bucks at All Out, The Wild Boyz would face the Bucks again in tag team action with both teams putting on a great performance. However, the Boyz would claim the victory yet again. After the match, ELP would make it clear that the Bucks had gotten sloppy and would question if they had turned their back on what it meant to be “too sweet”?

The much anticipated match between Dark Order and TH2 would take place on Rampage, with the Dark Order being teamed to claim the victory with Tully Blanchard peacocking to his heart's content and sending a clear message to Jake Roberts about who out of the two of them was managing the better team.

With a week to go until Fall Out Brawl, ELP would cut a promo on the Bucks again, and make it clear that ‘they were coming’ not now - but sooner rather than later. This would seem to throw Nick Jackson off his game, as he would go on to suffer a singles loss to Jordan Oliver. Meanwhile Caza Salvaje would claim a tag team victory over Contrat Unit. After the match Vikingo would make it clear that at Fall Brawl the title belt were the least of anyone worries and instead he wanted to face Pentagon, Jr. in a best of two out of three falls match at Fall Brawl. Both men would end up having a really intense contest and ended up being one of the better matches at Fall Brawl with Vikingo picking up the victory.

At Fall Brawl ten tag team would involved in a Casino Royale with the winners knowing they would challenge for the tag team title at Full Gear, with the final two team being SCU and the Wild Boyz members Frankie Kazarian and Jordan Oliver, with Jordan Oliver ultimately eliminating Frankie and earning the Young Boyz a future shot at the tag team titles.

During the fallout of Fall Brawl, the Expendables and the Bucks would have a heated moment backstage, before it being announced that both teams would face each other later in the night - with the Expendables picking up a victory over the Young Bucks.

On Rampage Contra Unit (Fatu & Penta) would pick up a victory over Nightmare Family members Cody Rhodes & Cobb. After the match though Cobb would blindside Cody and nail him with his own finisher the Cross Rhodes - before being officially confirmed as the newest member of Contra Unit. Jeff Cobb would make it clear that the Nightmare Family had become nothing more than a gallery of wrestlers, but there was no direction behind the group and that he had grown bored of being the nice guy who did nothing - and instead intended on being part of a group that actually wanted to help shape the future and teach everyone the truth each and every week.

Tensions between Penta and Vikingo clearly weren’t done with their personal feud, with Penta making it clear that Contra Unit had opened his eyes and that from this day forward it was clear to him that his one job was to reunite with his brother - and that Vikingo was the roadblock that needed to be removed from the picture, permanently. Meanwhile, the Young Boyz would take how much they were looking forward to winning the belt at Full Gear, but that at the spookiest event of the year Halloween Havoc they intended on claiming a second victory over the Bucks.

At Halloween Havoc, Jordan Oliver and El Phantasmo would continue to show themselves as one of the hottest tag teams in the division by claiming another victory over the Young Bucks. The AEW World Tag Team Championship would be defended in a three way elimination tag match with Caza Salvaje claiming a victory over both the Dark Order and Contra Unit and confirming that they would now be facing the Young Boyz at Full Gear.

Pumpkin Bowl 2020

Just like last year’s tournament the first two rounds of the tournament had taken place on YouTube stream prior to Halloween Havoc, with the Pumpkin Bowl very much remaining the main focus of the show. In the quarter finals Mr. Brodie Lee would defeat Black Taurus, WALTER would defeat Darby Allin, Chris Hero would claim a victory over Christopher Daniels and Jonathan Gresham would round off the quarter finals by beating TJP.

The final four would see WALTER defeat Brodie and Jonathan defeating Chris Hero setting up a the final between Gresham and WALTER, that would result in both men putting on a great match with Jonathan Gresham showing himself as a true technical master and winning the Pumpkin Bowl and joining Paul London as previous tournament winners. Although, last year Darby Allin had held the Bowl for most the period leading up to Blood & Guts only for Tomohiro to end up being the man that cashed in the bowl for the world title shot. The question is, would Jonathan Gresham be able to hold onto the bowl for a little longer than Paul London had.

Chris Hero would make it clear following the tourney for the Pumpkin Bowl that he wanted another match with Gresham - making it clear that he had still been shaking off ring rust at Halloween Havoc, but next time they met he would be more than ready to fight. On the Dynamite go-home show Gresham and Chris Hero would have a fight backstage and Gresham would make it clear that they didn’t need to wait any longer and that they would battle for the bowl tonight. The match would be patchy in places, but Gresham would retain control of the Pumpkin Bowl.

Caza Salvaje x Young Boyz - Act One

Wild Boyz would defeat the Gunn Club on Rampage - after the match El Phantasmo would be ecstatic at how happy he was that the Bullet Club had finally sent a contingent from Japan to AEW and that after he and Jordan won the belts at Full Gear - he would have more time to don his colours once more and perhaps bring a new friend to the party (Oliver.)

The following weeks the two teams would face off in singles matches, ELP getting a win over Rey Fenix and Vikingo getting a victory over Jordan Oliver. After the second match all four would end up having a massive brawl in the ring, with tensions really building up ahead of their match at Full Gear.

During the go-home show the Dark Order would pick up a shock non-title win over the champions, but only because of a distraction by ELP.

Factions Rising

Following Halloween Havoc - Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens would all make their AEW debut appearing in the ring at the same time. Karl Anderson would stand at the forefront of the group and make it clear that the Bullet Club had officially arrived - and would be waiting for their former brethren to step up to the plate and join the ranks.

Later that week on Rampage, Order 66 would claim a tag team victory over the Horn Blowers. After the match they would be joined by Evil Uno & Stu Grayson. Evil Uno would introduce the two newest members of the Dark Order Alex Reynolds ‘3’ & John Silver ‘4’ with the pair making their AEW debuts as part of the alternative faction.
The following week on the Friday's how BC would run into TH4 backstage, with Doc Gallows making it clear that TH4 were a bunch of nerds who were in need of a beating and the Club would be more than happy to oblige in the not too distant future. A week later Tyler Black would make his RAW debut on Rampage, and he would be joined in the ring by the Bullet Club with it being announced that Black was the new leader of the group and that moving forward things in AEW were going to change. During the same episode Alex Reynolds & John Silver would make their competitive debut and team up to pick up a victory over The Butcher & The Blade.

A week later During the go-home show the Dark Order would pick up a shock non-title win over the champions, but only because of a distraction by ELP. Tyler Black would also make his singles debut on Rampage and claim a singles victory over Hangman Page. After the match, Black would make it clear at Full Gear - TH4 were finally going to get what was coming to them.

We Are Atomic!

Atomic would be launched alongside Rampage as a third show, but unlike Rampage which would air on TNT - Atomic would air on Saturdays on YouTube. A video package would focus primarily on Velvet Sky and what it felt being one half of the Women’s Tag Team champions, later on that night herself and Leon (The Allure) would claim a non-title victory over the Twin Peaks (Awesome Kong & Kamille).

A video package would also air focusing on the long standing rivalry between Oedo Tai & the Golden Girls with Bea Priestley commenting that Atomic was the perfect platform for all of the women on the AEWA roster and she hoped that more talent would consider joining the promotion, with an extra show being offered to propel women’s wrestling forward to a mainstream audience. Former tag champs Love & Hayte would falter without their title and pick up a shock loss to Order 66.

A new rivalry would also come to the surface with Kylie Rae and Yuka Sakazaki rubbing each other wrong way, and Yuka in broken English making it clear that she felt Kylie had been a very good Women’s World Champion - but that she wanted to claim a big win over Kylie to prove herself as being worthy of her spot on the roster.

Of course the women wouldn’t just be restricted to Atomic, as on the second week of Dynamite following All Out. Already established tag team Riho and Shida would also be joined in the ring by Sakazaki and would form a faction called JPN-gun with the core bond of the group being they were all from Japan (and would be a babyface faction). Riho would make it clear that they would welcome everyone into their family with open arms, as long as there was a level of respect present with all involved.

Tensions between the Golden Girls & Oedo Tai would continue on Rampage, with Oedo making it clear that they were starting to grow bored of the Golden Girls and it was about time Cassandra and her bands of losers just accepted defeat and gave up. Giving up would be the last thing on the Golden Girls’ minds though as Cassandra & Gibbs would team up and claim a victory over Baker & Hayter and send a clear message that they were far from finished. After the match Starlight Kid and Priestley would emerge from the back to exact some revenge in a four on two assault, with Statlander making her way from the back, but Oedo Tai still holding a numbers advantage. That would all change though when the music belonging to Thunder Rosa would emerge from the back wearing a ‘Golden Girls’ tee and would run to the ring and even the odds and manage to chase Oedo Tai out of the ring and towards the back.

The second episode of Atomic would begin with a Trios match between the Allure & JPN-gun with the Allure picking up the win and Sky and Leon showing exactly why they were the champions as Angelina would look very proud as she would cheer for her two girls. Mercedes Martinez would make her debut on Atomic and explain that she had arrived with the intention of shaking up the division, and would make it clear that despite having a lot of respect for Japan and its style - for too long AEW had become a private enclosure for weebs and Joshi lovers and it was time that some real wrestling returned to people screens. She would go on to introduce Kellyyanne & Guila and inform everyone they were to be known as ‘Aviso de Muerte’ from here on out - and that they were looking for blood in the water.

Kylie Rae would cut a promo, where she would make it clear that Hikaru Shida was very clever in choosing to hide her problems behind the protective walls of JPN-gun - but would make it clear that she didn’t need to surround herself with allies to get to job done and would let it be known that sooner or later Shida was going to be force to pay the price. The main-event would be another Oedo Tai vs. Golden Girl affair - with Thunder Rosa claiming a win for her new faction by claiming a win over Starlight Kid.

On the next week’s cycle of shows Order 66 would claim a win over The Horn Blowers, after the contest Mercedes and Kellyanna would come out to the ring and make it clear that Order 66 and their stupid Star Wars name and Dark Order gimmick were going to get them crushed and they had the intention of making them a example, of why you don’t get on the wrong side of ‘Aviso de Muerte’. Further intensity between Kylie & Shida would surface on Rampage with the hatred between both women really boiled to the surface.

On Atomic Aja Kong would feature in a video package, in which it would be announced that Aja Kong had returned to America and that she had decided to return to AEW. Tormenta Oscura (Martinez & Kellyanna) would make it clear prior to their match with Order 66 - that tonight was just going to be a sample of further beatdowns that Natalya and Anna Jay would receive in the coming weeks until they gave up with this moronic Dark Order gimmick. Tormenta would pick up the win when young Aussie Kellyanne would take out Natalya with a Spinning Back Fist to claim an important first victory for the ‘Aviso de Muerte’ faction.

On the go-home week build up to Fall Brawl, Kylie Rae and Hikaru Shida would finally have the match they had been looking for only for Rae to bend the rules and grab hold of the ropes to steal the win.| After the match, Allure would come out from the back and make it clear that JPN-gun were clearly going in the right direction - with all these losses her and the rest of the JPN-gun were picking up.

At Fall Brawl - with the benefit of Atomic having provided a larger platform for the women on the roster four matches (not even including the Women’s Championship match) would feature on the card. Hikaru would claim an important win over Kylie Rae, picking up an important win for JPN-gun. It would also be an important night for Tormenta Oscura who would stay true to their word as they would pick up the win they had been forecasting over Order 66.

Oedo Tai (Baker, Hayter & Starlight Kid) and the Golden Girls (Rosa, Cassandra & Statlander) would battle in a trios match, with Oedo Tai claiming the win and continuing to wage war on the rest of the division, whilst The Allure would retain the women’s tag team championships by picking up a win over Twink Peaks.

On the fallout show Tormenta Oscura would continue their winning ways with a win over RihoShida - after the match The Allure would come to the ring and make a mockery of RihoShida - and make suggestions they would be better just getting on the first flight and going back to their poxxy Joshi wrestling Choco Nonsense. The following week on Atomic Velvet and Mandy would go on to successfully defend their tag titles against 2K Karat Gold (Statlander & Gibbs) before Velvet would cut a promo making it clear that The Allure were the big time players now in AEW and the Golden Girls, JPN-gun and Oedo Tai were all pretenders and they would never truly be anything but second best. It would also be revealed that Cassandra Golden had departed AEW and instead signed a contract with Global Force Wrestling.

On Atomic following Havoc, the Allure and JPN-gun would end up having a massive fight backstage. Meanwhile, Thunder Rosa would take control of the Golden Girls and make it official that even if Cassandra had abandoned the group, the fight wasn’t going to stop under her watch.

Hikaru Shida and Kylie Rae would have a heated moment backstage with their hatred seeming to never end, irrespective of the amount of matches the two had been involved in. While Velvet & Leon would confirm they would be putting their title on the line against JPN-gun at Full Gear. Riho and Sky would feature in a singles match, with Riho picking up the win on the final Rampage before Full Gear, giving Riho and JPN-gun a slight confidence boost ahead of their title challenge at the PPV.

The Queendom of Oedo Tai (US Chapter) - Act Two

On the episode of Rampage following Fall Brawl, Bea & Hayter would team up to take on Order 66. A miscommunication between Priestley and Hayter though would cost them a win, with Natalya managing to force Hayter to tap out by way of the Sharpshooter. After the match, Priestley would start shouting at Hayter, with Jamie making sure to give a good account of herself only to shock everyone when she would nail Hayter with a Rocket Kick to the face and then exit the ring alone.

On the subsequent episode of Atomic, Priestley would defeat Thunder Rosa in a non-title match. After the contest Jamie Hayter would make it clear that she had grown sick of Bea and that she had been holding her and the rest of Oedo Tai for months now and that she wasn’t going to put up with it any longer, especially after the fact that she had assaulted a member of the faction.

On the next Rampage, Hayter would attack Priestley, attacking her longtime friend with a forearm smash to the back of the head following Bea’ victory over The Bunny. Hayter would make it clear in a ring promo that the only thing that Priestley actually cared about was the Women’s Championship and demanded a shot at the title at Halloween Havoc. The match would be booked, and the match would start to show the first cracks within Oedo Tai and there was no love lost between Priestley and Hayter as they did battle in a truly excellent match at the special, but Priestley would simply prove to much as she would retain the belt and continue her reign of absolute dominance.

Bea Priestley would do her best to clear the air and offer Hayter a chance to let bygones be bygones and step back in line and understand that business had to be run a certain way, with her as the captain of the ship and that she would wait to hear from Hayter. Hayter prior to her match with Nyla Rose on Rampage, would make it clear that her and Priestley were done and there was never going to be a way for them to see eye to eye again in the future. Hayter would go on to pick up a win over Rose.

The next week, Priestley would call Hayter out from the back and demand that she face her in tonight’s main-event - as she would be putting the title on the line and would expect for Hayter to fall back in line following the match. Bea would once again claim a victory over Hayter, but Hayter would refuse to shake hands with Bea and it was clear an attempt at a reconciliation was never going to happen. Later that week on Atomic Bea and Thunder Rosa would have a fight backstage - with Rosa making it clear that she was very much interested in beating the crap out Priestley on a more permanent basis irrespective of whether it involved the world title or not.

On Dynamite Bea would continue to offer shots for her title, and claim a decisive win over Angelina Love. After the victory, Priestley would make it clear that she simply was unstoppable at this point in time and that she simply was untouchable. Hayter would confront Priestley backstage and make it clear that at Full Gear she was was going to kick her ass one way or another, Priestley would make it clear that she had grown bored and tired of Hayter’s nonsense and that she would hand out one final beating and it would be the final time that Hayter would be allowed to wear the Oedo Tai colours.

Later that week on Atomic an intense fight would take place between Hayter and Priestley backstage, with neither Baker nor Starlight wanting to get involved.

All four members of Oedi Tai would compete in a tag team match with the Love & Hayte battling with the original pairing of Baker and Bea, although it was clear that Britt and Starlight Kid were still unsure about whose side to take. It would be the former tag team champions that would pick up the win. After the match, Hayter would make it clear to Bea that she had been correct and that only one of them could be a member of Oedo Tai following Full Gear and it would be the person who left with the Women’s Championship in their possession.
