I’m gonna continue to watch the show, though. But I can prefer a different story direction. I’m glad that most of the time you can enjoy what the direction is, but that’s not me. If not enjoying it I’m not enjoying it.

That’s what funny is I agree with you though about his next story is interesting to me. So it’s not like I’m checking out totally because I’m not getting the story I wanted. I’m just not looking forward to the story I don’t like and I’m patiently waiting for the one I will now.

I’m also raving about the Mariah story. So there’s balance here. Don’t like one title story, do like the other. I’m actually hoping the women main event (probably won’t).

That's the funny part. I still enjoyed the show, just disliked one segment (skipped Jericho match cause not a fan of his current stuff even more than the Acclaimed but popped for the Joe write off spot after hearing about it) and disagreed with a story beat thinking there was one I had more hype for.

and i dont mean that to u specifically or as an insult, just trying to make a point that stories are art and fans dont get to write them. we get to watch them and decide if we like it or not. I prefer to look at what the artist puts out and judge when its over

I mean, I’m not entirely sure what this means. I know I can’t physically write the show. But I am deciding that I don’t like it. I get waiting for it to be over. I made the same point about judging swerve as champion last night.

I’m mostly judging based on where the story might go, but also giving input on if the story goes elsewhere.

I have some hopes left for if the story goes somewhere I’ll enjoy.

Right now, I’m just enjoying the discussion. If this discussion wasn’t already happening, I’d just be posting about the Mariah story more because that story is all I can think about outside this thread. It was a great angle and I’m loving the artists work so far on this one and I can’t wait to see more.

I’m not huge into The Acclaimed stuff with The Bucks personally. I’m kind of over The Acclaimed, I still like Bowens and Daddy Ass but Caster does nothing for me anymore and his Twitter hijinks have turned me off of him.

For the record, I’m sure it is. It’s like I was gonna say to your “I’m a hanger mark and I’m never like this” post is you seemingly don’t ever get your hopes up on getting something you want and I wish I could do that, too, but my enjoyment in wrestling is almost directly tied into my ability to invest in a story, character or payoff. Severing that tie would probably kill my ability to watch wrestling so I’ll take the peaks and valleys that come with it. When something I want comes to pass it’s the greatest feeling ever. Like with Mariah. I’d even say the joy I’m getting on her winning is 5 times stronger than pain of being disappointed by the Hangman loss so I think I’ll be all right in the end. I’ll get by. I do get what you mean, though.
