I will say, if one had to turn, I’m glad it’s Mariah. Just because I much rather Toni be the face.

This honestly works better even though character wise Toni seems like the one that should turn so this is what is more shocking because Toni was there surprisingly. She was at ringside. She was supporting May. So may turning shows you that she was never genuine in our support for Tony but Tony was. May just waited and bided her time until she could get Tony for that title because she wants to be Tony. She doesn’t want to be Tony’s fan. Mariah wanted to be Tony. And look at Tony bleeding here. This is why blood in women’s angles should be used but sparingly. You don’t get desensitized to it so when this angle happens, it’s just fucking works on another level because Maria didn’t just go in on Tony. She busted her the fuck up. That was a great ending.

Storyline wise it made more sense originally to go the other way, but Tony is way too over to Stay heel and Mariah is really good at being a heel and like I just said in my previous post, it shows you Maria’s thought process. As she was using Tony to replace her and never actually cared about Tony herself. Great storytelling.
