I even said that I thought the turn was gonna be pretty quick after Maria won, but I didn’t even think it was gonna be that quick but I did call it when they started to leave because I was like there was supposed to be overrun and we still right on 10 o’clock so I was like gotta watch this post match.

It hit hard like a motherfucker. And like I was saying before the blood was the coup de grace that pulled the whole thing together. Some people don’t wanna see women bleed at all and I’m kind of in that camp, but I do think if you use it sparingly once in a while it can have the effect it’s supposed to, and that just pulled this whole thing together because you are not gonna forget this night and you’re not gonna forget when Mariah turned on Toni and busted her the fuck up and bloodied her face. This was so good.

Storyline wise it made more sense originally to go the other way, but Tony is way too over to Stay heel and Mariah is really good at being a heel and like I just said in my previous post, it shows you Maria’s thought process. As she was using Tony to replace her and never actually cared about Tony herself. Great storytelling.

And that is why Tony had the women close not just to give women some more main Events but he had a killer angle to close the show. I’m happy he did too because as the only person that wasn’t calling for Danielson, I got to leave Happy with Maria not only winning within also Staging the show.

My only worry is Mariah turning this early and coming out so strong in the beginning that I hope Tony comes back and get a lot of forward momentum because I still also Need Mariah to win at all.

I think it can be tweaked maybe a little bit if anything, but yeah, I don't think it needs to be dropped just yet. There will come a time where it needs to change probably, but let her have a good face run with it first and then drop the timeless thing.

That final shot after Maria my rubs her cheek to Tony’s cheek and gets the blood all over her face and just gives that camera that absolutely unhinged psychotic gaze right down the camera is an all-time classic shot.

Also, now that the show is over, I can explain more on my feelings for Swerve and Hanger. I just didn't want to during the show, as I know some people(myself included tbh) gets annoyed when people just argue over something during the show, while something else is going on, and I ain't wanna be that guy lol

But like, I think there is enough hate there with the two, it doesn't really NEED the title, now would it help make it a little better? Sure, probably. But like, at the same time I'm just not wanting to see it again right away, which you can say is odd as it's the feud that sold me on Swerve. But I'm just never a fan of running a feud back so soon. I mean it's been like, only like 4 months really, but with Hanger joining the Blood and Guts match, it clearly will be sparked back up.

I guess a case can be made that it never truly ended since Hangman went away for a bit, and now he's back for his revenge, which is a fair case, a fair point even. So, I'm along for the ride, I just think there is enough bad blood there that they can feud without the title, so maybe Hangman cost him it at All In, and then they can have a final blow off match where Hanger gets his revenge or whatever. then wait awhile to ever come back to it please.

I think when you’re building up a match for the first time, you can do it without a belt. Maybe the first rematch you can continue to build it without the belt. But they’ve had so many matches based on just their rivalry that I personally don’t really think I care about seeing it again if the story isn’t being elevated to go somewhere new, and that would be hangman, needing to take the belt away from him.

I also prefer title changes when there’s a good story there. I do like Danielson but him beating swerve wouldn’t give me the same satisfaction as seeing swerve do it. Swerve has been a downward trajectory since losing to Punk that culminated in a double turn with Swerve despite swerve doing some downright after things to hangman including breaking his spirit. It would just be full circle moment if hangman’s ascent back to the title and his spot on top is through the same man that broke him.
