What exactly do you mean by separate RP threads? Like for each match each person has their own RP thread?

Don't send me PM's for that, if I have a problem with the fed, or have any form of feedback, I'll make it known. :)

They mean for each roleplay you finish, you post it in a single thread. So a guy with a four RP cap would post four separate threads with four different roleplays.

Haha. I'll keep that in mind.

So you saying that a one on one match with a 4 rp cap could potentially create 8 threads?

8 threads which would individually focus on a single roleplay (i.e. all feedback would be clear and concise and about a single topic). It makes things a lot easier for grading too.

Yup and that's the major con of the system haha.

Extreme major con ya know since we have 7 or 8 matches a card with varying cap limits... which then makes caps extremely important... but mannn that would be a mess to have to go through to see if your opponent does anything. So yeah my vote would be against it :)

yeah it could potentially work for feedback a whole lot easier but what if someone doesn't want it? Then its pointless. Plus its even more difficult to piggyback or respond to another RP cause everything is separate. And I don't see how grading would be easier... but then again that's me.

Easy solution eliminate caps and implement the system being discussed.

Who cares if they want it. People always have the right to voice their opinions. If they want to piggyback or respond, they can use a chain and it will count as one or more roleplays towards their cap. It's easy as hell and we did it for 3 years with rarely any problems at all. I read fast, and as staff, I was able to grade everyones roleplays within 30 mins to maybe 2 hours at the max. Then I was able to put the card up. It's so efficient, you wouldn't even believe it.

This looks like something that will clutter new posts and everyone on the site even people that aren't associated with have to deal with ACW tons more. I had the same problem with how UCW was doing awards when for overall site awards we had only one thread. I know there is different ways to do these things but this seems a little overboard.

What do you mean? Everything will pretty much stay confined to this area of the site and be moved into an archive just as it is now. There are no single threads for awards, so it's not the relative.

I'll stick with what I always been told... Don't try to fix what isn't broken. If the current system works, and it is working flawlessly, then there isn't a need to try to get rid of it for something else.

I mean I'm not trying to crap on your idea at all. I'm sure it works. I'm sure it does but what is being used now works as well. So why change it.

And yeah people always have a right to an opinion but doesn't mean everyone wants it. Doesn't mean its always needed. Feedback as a reason... kinda flawed.

Which is three posts long. Which changes almost every second. So, it's basically useless anyway.

As for what you said, Slim, I feel you, but it could make things a lot faster.
