At this episode of SmackDown, at a backstage segment, Cody and Sandow have split the team of Rhodes Scholars. Now both are single competitors. What do you think about it? Do you think splitting them is a good move? What does future holds for both Cody and Sandow?

For Cody hope there will be a feud against his brother Goldust, facing each other at Mania. And for Sandow, no idea... Maybe another match against Sheamus :Sandow:

Thank god, it just had to end. Cody needs to rediscover what made him so good in 2011, while Sandow deserves more exposure in big matches.

Could see both being leading factors on Smackdown in this year. Sandow I think will reach the pinnacle of world championship status before Cody however.

Interesting decision to split them up, another tag team gone.

I see Cody turning face after Mania anyways.

Don't like this one bit. Sandow is going to be a main eventer, there is no doubt about that. But we all know it's going to be a few years before the stars align for Sandow's run as a top tier guy. This is a stupid decision. Should have kept them together and had them win the tag belts at 'Mania.

Slightly surprised as I expected them to at least win the titles before they split. I would have waited until after Mania as well as I doubt either guy will be placed in a good feud for Mania whereas at least as a team they could have gone after the tag titles again.

Still it nows gives both guys a great opportunity to stake their claims as singles wrestlers. Damien Sandow has to be in the mainevent on Smackdown soon, he has all the attributes required for a maineventer and WWE need to strike will the iron is hot. After WM when things start to quieten down they should be trying out Sandow in PPV title matches to see how he goes and see how the crowd receives him. Cody on the other hand has always been good but was just never able to get to that next level. Hopefully now he can find that extra something that he needs to take that next step.

Would be awesome to see Rhodes & Dust feud, that would eventually lead to them doing the tag team bit before Dust is done for good. That one moment in the Rumble had me marking out.

Sandow, I would like to see him with one of the mid-card titles. Maybe get Matt Stryker to be his protege, or whatever it is Sandow was looking for while Cody was injured.

Cody will be the Jannetty, bad times for him.

Just hope some of Sandow's charisma rubbed off.

Weird. I'm not mad, but I don't the they were anywhere near ready to be disbanded, I expected them capture the belts next in fact. Oh well, everyone seems pretty hopeful as far as Sandow goes, but I hope Cody is able to find something to do too. Personally I think a fued with Miz, ADR or Sheamus would be interesting.

I think there was still a lot left they could have done with them as a team but I'm alright with this. I'd like to see Sandow-Kofi at Mania, I think that could be pretty good. Not sure what to do with Cody, the guy is good but they never really know what to do with him, and I don't either.

I think this sucks, I really liked them as a team. Could have been a strong team and eventually become a stable as Sandow has that thing about looking for an apprentice. Oh well, Sandow will become a top guy soon, he's got everything for it.

Ah and there is a great thing about this. Finally we can hear Smoke & Mirrors again.

And I think this two will have a better individual career. Cody is more than a tag team player now. He needs to be his own guy. He is just 27 but he has turned his potential into a big talent. Hope it will be a good year for Cody. And for Sandow, he will still gain momentum as he is a decent talent but not a big deal right now.

Lol at people writing Cody off as a singles threat. Guys is 27 got plenty of time to develop and improve and it's only a matter of time before he proves people wrong. Look at Ziggler; 31 and even with the MITB WWE are scared to give him clean wins over Sheamus etc. Cody's time will come, maybe he should go back to the dashing gimmick now he has the moustache schtick.

I think these guys were split too soon. I was beginning to enjoy them every week. For a team that was thrown together because creative had nothing for them, they made it work. A run with the titles seemed imminent, but it didn't happen.

As far as singles careers goes, I've said it before, 2013 will be a very important year for Cody Rhodes. I feel like he took a step backwards in 2012 from the major character leap he took in 2011. The guy has all the potential and is only 27, so his best years are ahead of him. He just needs to find that special something that makes him stand out again.

Sandow, I like him, but I'm not as high on him as everyone else. I hear people saying he should be World Champion before the year is over and I believe that is an exaggeration. He's got a good gimmick, he's good in the ring and he can produce quality matches with guys like Sheamus. But I want to see him feud with some of the upper tier guys before giving him a major title. He'll be a major player, just not yet.

Cody of course has time on his side as it looks like he will be a WWE mainstay for the next decade barring injury. But, he hasn't really been able to take that next step yet, he needs to change something about what he does because so far he hasn't been able to break through to that top bracket of stars even on Smackdown. I hope that he can do it because we all know WWE need more stars and the more in the mainevent fighting over the title the better.
