I'll be pissed if we sign Julius Thomas or DeMarco tho. Thomas fills a huge need, but will be overpaid for his Denver production that will never be matched in Oakland.
Murray would be overpaid considering RB is a very minor need for us. We need to let LT Murray have his shot, just sign a competent backup.

I don't want any part of DeMarco as a Raider. Much much much rather have Lynch for one season, that's my fucking smurf.
we could pay Lynch 1 year 20 million, it doesn't matter. We have essentially infinite cap space for this season
IIRC you were pretty hot on DeMarco last year any specific reason you don't want him?
also Julius Thomas will most likely be a Jaguar this upcoming season IMO.. Oaktown and Jville will have a small bidding war I imagine until the Raiders say he's too rich for their blood.

Just not a huge need for the Raiders. I like DeMarco fine, but I was mostly high on him for fantasy purposes. Do I really think he has a great chance of maintaining a healthy career after getting paid? no.
Bottom line: Would I rather have LT or DeMarco Murray starting at RB for the next 2 seasons? DeMarco making 5 per or LT making less than a mill? no brainer.
D'Z has been as traumatized by veteran FA pickups as wrestling fans are of big guy pushes. If Julius Thomas leaves Peyton F'n Manning to go play for Derek Carr or Blake Bortles, what does that say about his fucks given about his career?
