Reports coming in that the Jaguars will be the ones to take Julius Thomas and that a deal is almost complete.

49ers being reported as placing WR Torrey Smith as a top priority.. personally if the Eagles let go of Maclin I'd like Torrey Smith at the price he's seeking.

Eagles, Giants and Patriots are in a bidding war over McCourty.

EDIT: It's now being reported that the Maxwell deal is for 5 years not 6 that will pay him $53 instead of 63.

Don't know about down there but here in TN we have no state income tax, but you don't see Nashville getting boatloads of free agents due to our 9.25% sales tax. :eww:

Personally I think he's a pretty solid athlete who's been hindered by a lack of passing QBs like Smith & Kaepernick.. also his injuries are a tad of a concern.

Former Eagles LB Trent Cole visiting with the Browns today, Cole is originally from Ohio.. He'd fit well with Cleveland IMO. he's also been contacted with interest by the Cardinals.

Free-agent RB Frank Gore has told people he will sign this week with the Philadelphia Eagles.

EDIT: The deal is expected to pay $7.5M guaranteed in '15-16.
