Have never understood announcing "We're gonna try to trade this guy, if not we're gonna cut him". Wouldn't that wipe away his trade value?

"Hey, I'm either going to charge you a dollar for my sandwich, or I'll just leave it on this table for you to get anyway"

I agree, I think it makes terrible sense to play that kind of card on a player like Darrelle Revis who was hurt before he came and had a very mediocre season

They traded a top-15 pick (which turned into studmuffin Sheldon Richardson) for an injured corner that they're going to cut after one season. Amazing. Trent Richardson thinks they got ripped off.

Suppose it's the Lovie hire that made all the difference. Don't know much about defensive schemes, but doesn't Lovie's system place very little value on CB's?

Carolina GM Dave Gettleman came from the Giants organization. While Nicks has slumped mightily over the past two seasons -- logging a grand total of three touchdowns, all of which came in 2012 -- Gettleman has seen him dominate with physical play and clutch catches. The UNC product -- and Charlotte native -- could return home to get his good name back.

I feel like Reggie wants us to lose. If I'm running a team and I have two young front line guys in their prime. One of which is considered the best in their position and the other hasn't his his ceiling yet. I start there not signing a different O lineman or going after a Qb who is gonna torture the fan base with all his pick sixes he's gonna throw.
