True, I hear Washington is top suitor at 8.75 mil + a decent signing bonus, I don't think Philly is going to go the full 9 mil we'll most likely end up with Bethea, Jenkins or Mike Mitchell and a draft pick at that spot.

Lol my math is a little rusty but if I'm doing this correctly we could sign Mike Neal LB (Green Bay), Mike Mitchell S (Carolina) and Champ Bailey DB (Denver) for roughly $1.5 mil less per year than if we went with Byrd.

which in retrospect that 1.5 mil would end up paying like half of Bethea's contract per year so I mean idk I'd go the safer route with cheaper quality players than just going for a monster who's gonna tear up valuable cap space, granted 9 mil out of our 24 and we already have our offensive weapons resigned idk we may pull the gun and get the dankness at Safety yet again.

I'm all for it. Sure his contract is ridiculous but we have way too much cap anyway. We have 0 great players, hell probably like 3 good ones, so bringing him in would be big.

ditto, the I believe Raiders name came up once but I'm pretty sure it was debunked almost immediately.
