Snow being a Vols fan you prlly watched this game but I just came across this highlight of Murderleg decking Cordarrelle Patterson, Spear was shaken up but continued to play.

This kid is nuts, here he is on a play vs Wake Forest.

Calvin Johnson played for Philly?

PFF provides a free sample of their Signature Stats, and in the category of "Deep Passes", Johnson ranked No.1 and hauled in 21 of 23 possible "deep balls" while piling up 652 yards.

curr

Pardon my slight hyperbole, would best "deep ball specialist" or "top 5 deep threat" have worked better for you princess

I wonder how we can avoid catastrophes like what happened with like half of the first round last year?

According to fantasyfootballcalculator, the projected 1st round (which our league was almost copying last year except for Romo and Rodgers being top-5 picks iirc) are Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Calvin Johnson, Eddie Lacy, Marshawn Lynch, Jimmy Graham, Demaryious Thomas, Peyton Manning, Arian Foster, Montee Ball.

I have some questions with AP since he HAS to fall apart at some point, doesn't he? Otherwise there's no worry at all with the top 4. Calvin is Calvin, I think it's too early to call Lacy injury-prone but it feels like it, but he's a stud, Marshawn is a guaranteed bust, if Graham holds out I would worry (but still may draft him), not quite sure with Demaryious since Peyton spreads the ball around but he was still a godlike fantasy producer last year, Peyton will regress a little and come back to the Brees/Rodgers pack, Foster seems like fine value, and Ball makes me lol.

What do you guys think of this pack?
don't see why you are down on Beast Mode.

You no likey Kickers? I think they're very interesting for a fantasy league. Sometimes they can make or break ya :p
no no no. Too random. they are the equivalent of throwing shit at the wall. no rhyme or reason for kicker scoring. I'm seriously considering not using them in this league this year, as a trial run for the money league I run. I'd love to get rid of them in all of my leagues. fuck em.

Prlly cuz Snow's not from Cali :p

Nah just messing, I don't know if he will be as effective this year as he was last year or two years ago. Marshawn isn't that old though so I suppose he could still have another solid workhorse year in him. I think they're going to be a different type of team here soon though, they got themselves a couple receivers and Turbin behind Lynch who is allegedly really talented but we haven't been able to see much and ofc Wilson likes to run but he does want to spread the field more passing. We'll see how defenses play them this season I suppose.

He kicked a 61 yard FG in High School. The NFL kicks from the 35 rather than 30 in college so it will go closer to the end zone every time but he usually gets it right on the end line; those were probably designed short to get them to run more of the clock out.

Hmm, are you planning to add something instead or just remove them? The trick is to draft Gostkowski early :p.

Maybe we will do two flex spots instead of a K

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE
RB/WR/TE
RB/WR/TE
DEF

6 bench spots

I do know that with all the interest people have shown it will probably be at least a 14 team league this year (key will be fags staying active instead of 3-4 quitting right off the bat)

That's the perfect way to do it. :win: [HASHTAG]#stillbutthurt[/HASHTAG]

I'm down on Beast Mode because he had like 400+ carries of his physical style of running last year, he's gotta be worn down this year.

and no, I did not see that game against Vandy, I didn't want to watch that Blue ass team lose to that lame ass team from the middle of the state. Fuck Vandy and fuck their fluke ass 2 game winning streak over us, but gotta that's one hell of a hit, Casey Spear has a nice spear

obviously things are far from set at this point, but how would you draft, say 8th overall, if the top 7 were AD, Shady, Charles, Forte, Lacy, Manning and Calvin? You going Jimmy Graham? You more confident in a Dougie Fresh or Arian Foster bounce back than Beast Mode sustaining his success?

I've seen Monte Ball go late first... I love him as the last part of tier 2 on the RB list, as of right now obviously, things very much subject to change

Tier 1: AD, Shady, Charles (And I got AD 3rd, aka I will never own AD this season)
Tier 2: Beast Mode, Lacy, Forte, Foster, Dougie Fresh, Stacy & Ball
Top of tier 3 starts with the guys like Bell, Bernard, Morris.. quite a drop off IMO

So basically an ideal draft consists of getting a top 3 pick, either Jimmy Graham or a top WR in the 2nd and early in R3 you can polish off the tier 2 of RBs with Stacy or Ball.

I'd probably spend the whole time deciding between Graham, Foster, and reaching for AJ Green, and then say 'fuck it" and click Foster.

Know how important important opportunity is, but I'm not buying this Montee Ball thing at all. Peyton didn't want him starting last year, what'll change now? Has he learned to pass protect yet? Things are subject to change, of course.

Should I go ahead and ask people if they want to sign up? :haha: But guess it's better to wait until it's not 3 fucking months away. AAAAAH CANT WAIT. Mock draft lobby isn't working btw

Lets see... D'Z, Snowwie, Senhor Pervect, Pottsy, Danny probably want in from last year, and I'll assume DK, CrayJ, and Gohan do to (I truly hope so) and I won't bother listing that ass who drafted Romo #2 overall.

So that's 8, plus Sharpy, Kevin, Aids, Arabhammer, possibly Britanica... anyone else?

Who is going to challenge Ball for carries? Writing is on the wall dude.. they let Moreno sign with Miami for peanuts. They didn't add any free agents. They didn't draft any RB. Ball averaged like 7 YPC over the second half of last season. He is going to produce at least what Moreno did last year. Low end RB1/High end RB2.

and lmao if you think brit is joining my FFB league. oh hell no

oh and I noticed the mock draft lobby wasn't working when I was at work last night. I was semi-butt hurt.
