CLE to match offer sheet for Alex Mack.
CAR signs S Thomas DeCoud on a 2-yr deal, $500k signing bonus; upto $3.75 mil. He will start out the #3 safety behind Roman Harper and Charles Godfrey (who is coming off an ACL injury and is expected to spend a bit of time in the slot).

Cap space depth move, not much they can do tbh I think it's better than any backup TE they are positioned to get later on in the draft seeing as they have some more important needs to address in the draft with what little money they have left. But yeah I'm sure they were only trying to pay in about $675k at least it wasn't above $800k

I doubt that happens, but... why must there be draft pick compensation? 'We'll trade you this DE that doesn't suit our system for an OLB that doesn't fit in yours!' Fair deal, lets go!

I don't think we're going to trade up for a receiver to be honest, Lee or Cooks or even Beckham sounds ideal. Although if Roby or Pryor is there we're should definitely draft them and then go for a WR in the 2nd round that has mad potential.

From a fan's standpoint, moving back the Draft has proven to be a bad decision, but I'm starting to wonder if it's better for the teams. Just saw on BR that a scout said "Teddy Bridgewater is too lean. His hands are too small. He's too introverted."

Really, we're still doing this in a post-Russell Wilson era?

That's why I'd make that bet with you, D'Z. Teddy Bridgewater will tumble in the draft, you never hear anything good come out about the guy anymore, and teams have more time to overthink about dumb shit instead of saying "Teddy Bridgewater has the best film, lets draft him!". Having more time could separate the cream from the crop.
