2011 Inductees
Shawn Michaels
Jim Duggan
Bob Armstrong
Sunny
Drew Carey (Celebrity Wing)
Abdullah the Butcher
The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering

Shawn Michaels is the first name to be announced for the 2011 WWE HOF. He is the star attraction and he definitely deserves the accolade of being the main event attraction for the HOF. He had an amazing career in WWE and it is nice that he can be recognised so soon after retiring from WWE.

What other wrestlers do you think will be inducted this year?

Arn Anderson would be perfect for the HOF.

Also since this is supposedly a WCW themed Mania, Freebirds and Midnight Express. Cornette's speech would be reason enough to tune in.

Luger is a name I hear being thrown around, Malenko for some reason also.

Well they don't need any big names anymore since they already have HBK. Freebirds and the Midnight Express would be great. They have to have at least some WCW stars in the HOF since it is in Atlanta this year so they should pay homage to the company that they bought. If they actually let Cornette speak then it would be fantastic, would be interesting to see if Cornette and WWE work with each other though.

Luger is probably a certainly for this year especially after his battle with illness. Malenko wouldn't be a bad addition to the HOF, he was successful and they have inducted much worse in the past.

Put DDP in the HOF, starting a wrestling career in their forties is something that should be commended, especially if they were successful. If they put Goldberg in before DDP, I would seriously try to burn down Titan Towers.

Well they are looking to get DDP in to do the Best of Nitro DVD so that may indeed happen. I would like to see it as well since he was one of the biggest stars in WCW that was created by WCW and like you said he started wrestling in his forties. He would be a good guy to round out the list of inductees.

I think since Booker T has an announcing job, it could be awhile before he gets a HOF nod. I was actually wondering, if he would be a marquee name or just among the group.

I think that he could be a marquee name. He was a star in WCW as a tag team and singles wrestler and eventually become a very successful singles wrestler in WWE. If he can stay behind the announce desk for a few years it will certainly help get him to marque status rather than in a filler role.

I'm thinking we'll see The Rock and Booker T. JR and King got the nod when they were announcing so why not Booker?

Maybe Sting too since it's in Atlanta the home of the WCW.

Seeing as Sting is not signed with WWE I don't see it happening this year, even though it would be then perfect time, I guess he's sticking with TNA.

Kind of like how the Road Warriors should've been inducted when WM was in Chicago, Sting will eventually get in. I hear Abdullah the Butcher is getting in, and the aforementioned Road Warriors. I'd be excited to see Abbie's speech and hope he brings a fork.

This would be the perfect year for Sting to get inducted, I've been saying that too. Will it happen? Now with 2.21.11 not being him I'm not really sure.

Hacksaw got inducted and let me say finally. I don't think he had to job for the last years of his career to get this spot but it was much deserving.

Never was a big fan of Duggan in the WWE. From what I hear his Mid South stuff was pretty good. Road Warriors need to get in and I'd be cool with Abdullah. I'd like to see the Midnight Express as well but don't see anything involving Corny. Ron Simmons rumor is ok with me as well.

Jim Duggan annoyed me in his recent run in WWE, I know he was just around as a comical jobber but still. In the end he won the first ever Royal Rumble and had a good run in WCW so I can see why he would be worth a minor spot in the HOF.

Ron Simmons would be a good choice for this year.

Bob Armstrong has been confirmed as another inductee for this year. I don't know much about him but from the sounds of it he was pretty big in his day and four of his sons wrestle the most famous being Road Dogg.

Abdullah the Butcher is supposedly going to be announced next week as the fourth member of the 2011 class.
