It would be interesting to find these plebs in 10 years time and see who sinned....

*ahem*

Either that or they will all be alone, fat and single.

Since I really do not know much about Judaism, what is the general opinion about gay marriage amongst the Jewish community? You're by far the best person to ask this question to.

Why thank you.... :smug:

It's a simple No. Like pretty much all religion!

Just further to that post...

There is a sect called "Reform Judaism" which basically welcomes anyone and dilutes the religion. They accept Gay marriage, which is why the other 95% of Jewish people don't accept reform judaism.

Can I ask what your opinion on it is? This could be a perfect example to those like Jonathan who presume all religious people have the same mindset.

Thanks for replying by the way. I know Judaism is rather similar to Christianity, but I wasn't sure if they were more laid back with things like this.

Not sure if you saw the extra bit I added: Just further to that post...

But yeah, My opinion is this:

Whatever the fuck makes you happy! Marry a ferret for all I care...just be happy with whatever you do and the consequences of your actions!

Just saw it. That sect seems like a very smart group of individuals to be honest. That is the direction that religion has to go into in my opinion. They have to modernise their beliefs which is probably difficult.

By the way, I honestly smiled when I read the bottom of your post. Fantastic. I wish more people were like you to be honest; you set a great example of what religion should represent. Whether you agree with it or not, it shouldn't be made into such a big deal and they definitely shouldn't be social outcasts because of it.

In all seriousness... this is why I've done so well at my job! I work in an Orthodox community but accept everyone and try to build bridges...doesn't always work but when it does, it's great!

It's hilarious how much people give a shit about other people's lives.

I couldn't give two shits what anyone else does. I am Atheist, so the whole idea of God is a joke to me, anyway (no offence...well, fuck, someone will be offended, anyway), but, really, who cares? Just let people marry whoever the fuck they want, unless it's some creepy ass old man wanting to marry a 13 year old girl. I can understand people jumping in on that as it's just wrong on so many levels.....but, two grown ass adults who want to get married? Wow, worrying about that, and spending your day protesting instead of, I don't know, maybe choosing to do something more productive in your life, like going to work, just shows how boring some people's lives are so they have to shit on someone else's.
