Boro set to complete Victor Lindelof deal within next 24 hours

@Stopspot do you know much about him? Sounds like a promising player
He's a solid player. Can play either as a defender or defensive midfielder. Currently he's with Benfica but there's talk of Boro either buying or loaning him. He's a bit of a Cinderella story over here since he wasn't originally a part of the U21 squad that won the euro, but was brought in when Emil Krafth was injured, and went on to impress throughout and even scored the winning penalty.

Young, hard working player that you'd do well to get. And who quite frankly could always use as much playing time as possible so he can nip a main national squad spot

It sounds like the deal is pretty much done hes gunna need to be at the top of his game to get in the starting 11 our defence is rock solid hopefully he provides good competition for ayala and Gibson and if he plaus his cards right he'll be a premier league player next season :bodallas:

Lol, Chelsea gonna sign Pato. Hope the guy stays healthy, even if he is going to the blues, but still I don't get why they wouldn't go for a proven premier league scorer like Charlie Austin. I can't see Pato fitting in.

Southampton got a great deal there for austin im surprised too not many other clubs went for him would have loved him to come to us ( Middlesbrough ) could do with a striker who knows where the back of the net is

Hoping Hooper is sorted soon, if the fee is around 3 million ill be impressed. Fessi and Hooper for 6 million is crazy value in this market. Its still alot but after Afobe going for 10, its crazy.

We could be spending at least 15 million on ross mccormack and matty phillips if things go to plan its a hell of a lot of money especially for the championship
