    Wednesday: new comic book day

What do you guys have on your pull list this week?

How many books did you read in 2016?

If they are going to get away with calling them graphic novel's than they should definitely be counted as books. I actually got away with doing a book report on Sailor Moon my freshman year of high school.

    Fanfiction

I hadn't thought of the legal aspect… It's technically legal to publish "fan fiction" about real people if you do it very carefully but it's a lot harder to publish fiction about copyrighted characters. I assume these wrestlers personas are copyrighted? But then, wouldn't they have to be?

Interesting Facts about the Famous WWE Wrestler- John Cena

    I honestly should've guessed that

What are you watching right now?

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok joo I think I may lay down and die when it's over

What was the last movie you watched?

Hurricane Bianca finally came out on Netflix today (yesterday, technically) Kind of disappointing…

How many books did you read in 2016?

I'm very much A basic bitch, the only Japanese novel I've ever read is Battle Royale. I'd like to read The Pillow Book one day but I don't think I'm smart enough for classic literature

    Fanfiction

Yes, but actually when I first started this little research project into WWE fandom I found that a lot of the recent fanfiction is omegaverse where Kevin Owens is mpreg. Seth Rollins as well but mostly Kevin Owens. I'm really interested in what people think of WWE fan fiction because it's...

How many books did you read in 2016?

On my Goodreads counter I put my goal at 300 because that's the most I usually read in a year but I only made it a little over 250. I'd say I more than made up for it in the amount of comic books I read, though. Anyone have a favorite book they read in 2016? I know I'm late to the game on this...

    Anime fans?

I've noticed a lot of members are also anime fans so was wondering what all of you thought of Yuri on Ice?

    Fanfiction

What is your opinion on fanfiction? Do you find it tolerable at all and/or is there a certain extent/content that makes it intolerable? Given how closely tied WWE members lives are with their fictional characters does this affect the way you perceive WWE fanfiction as opposed to, say, Star...

May ask where you study, or is that too personal?

    Slight ulterior motives

Awesome! Is there a particular subject you specialize in?

Steroids - Would wrestling be different today without them?

I'm curious as to what everyone feels about steroids in general but as for this particular angle… I have no empirical evidence but it strikes me that the WWE/WCW/etc. is really a child of the 80s and wouldn't have been able to achieve that prodigal son status without steroids. In popular...

    Men Of Wrestling Section

I think you misunderstood my use of the word sexualize as a pejorative. Sex work, be it prostitution or modeling, is completely valid and those who work in those industries deserve respect. I only meant that the section seemed to concentrate solely on one aspect of female wrestlers careers but...

    Men Of Wrestling Section

I think people might be surprised at how popular it would be. I know this isn't Tumblr, but there is quite an audience for it.
