I've seen them all in theatres over the years, we have a cinema in downtown Toronto that plays them as a sort of festival around Halloween every year. But if it was as they were released, it was from 6 on through to Zombie's crapathons.
I know, I was high when I saw it in theatres back when it first came out.

If you're just starting out, its a lot easier to go for humour and find a movie to insult, that's what I always used to do. Some of my most popular reviews are the result of me going totally nuts on a movie that sucks. :lol: I'd say if you dislike MI 2 that much, go for it and see what happens.
As for the TNG remastering thing, here's a quick video I found that shows some of the changes. Looks like a must buy Blu Ray for me.
