Hey I'm being nice to him. But since he isn't taken the info I'm providing, that's grounds for me to be rude to him, if I wanna be.

Makes sense that Disney wants it only on Hulu+ and not YTV since they own Hulu. Fucking sucks

Wow... well I have a migraine after reading all of that.

I'm not speaking to either side, but this would be pretty terrible for me. I do not have espn through any service. So with Raw on Netflix, PLE's on ESPN and POTENTIALLY the old content somewhere else, it would be way too much money for me. But even if ESPN took the old content, I would still have to add the streaming service as adding cable would cost me much more and I am not doing it just to watch WWE. But I am also not going to spend $30 a month for a new streaming service, so who knows...

I'll guess I will have to watch it in an available free method and they won't get any money from me at all.

I saw some people talking about the PPVs would only be partially on linear and it seems to come from this quote today from Mark Shapiro on today's WWE earnings call. Fron Fightful:

These PLEs are purpose-built for direct-to-consumer services. We will stream all 10 PLEs over the course of a year… The idea of having a Money in the Bank, a SummerSlam, a WrestleMania, take your pick from our PLEs, with the first hour or even two simulcast on ESPN linear and the D.T.C. which is a handoff to their direct-to-consumer. You just can’t beat that proposition, and of course, that’s driven by the fact that ESPN’s linear platform is absolutely unmatched in the industry.”

That's not in any of the other messaging they've released today so he either slipped or spoiled

I have ESPN+ on the Disney bundle hopefully that includes the PLEs as part of this service if so I am good and can cancel Peacock.
It's a different service than ESPN +

Here's an article with some clarification with the pay-TV login. The gist of it is that they have some deals done with some providers in time for launch (that's the small list that came out yesterday). They are actively working on the deals to get the pay-TV authentication for the rest of them and should have most by the end of the year.

WWE not being on there until March is a good thing as it'll give them time to get deals done so most people will be covered.

If they can get a deal done with Sling, I might try it.

That way I get the PLE, NXT and SmackDown.

So are you gonna apologize for telling me I was wrong when I posted those channels? Surely since I didn't snap on you, like you did others. I feel like you owe me one.

From the commercials, it says they let you pick what you want and not pay for what you don’t want. I thought it was a little better than that but as long as it’s cheap enough and covers both ESPN Direct and USA I’ll be happy.

It's like 45 a month. It's not bad, and I can switch back and forth. I do believe ESPN is on the one I didn't choose because I wanted USA, and the other channels for that. I maybe able to add ESPN but I haven't looked into it.
